The pizzas are overpriced. It took a while for them to be made; however, it was Friday. The pepperoni pizza was good but the sausage and onion pizza was average. The largest issue was the size of the pizzas. They were way too small! The place should be called 1/2.
Came here on 10/9, finally posting a review.Visited here on a food tour and discovered the wonders of red and white pizza ? Loved it so much I that after the tour called my brother to meet me up and bought a whole pie of white and red each to split between us. Both pizzas are so savory and so unique in flavor, as someone who's never had them before I could totally see myself becoming an addict and eating these everyday ?
4 stars because I like the vibe in there and the limited menu looks fire.
That said, and coming from dc and Philly food scene so do with that as you must, the Italian sandwich was ok. Lacked in a few areas: 1) needs better bread, way too soft. If you go to angelos which has the best Italian in Philly or capos in DC, the bread makes the Sammich. I’d like to see 8 1/2, a place with those kinds vibes and I hear good pizza, try their hand at making a sesame crunchy...
