Great food but they need to join the 21st century and figure out their ordering system… for a takeout place.

Always a favorite pizza spot. We usually get a white pizza, a pepperoni and the carbonara. ?‍? so good. It isn’t cheap but it’s worth it!

Ok so, this is a special pizza. It's its own thing. Not NY style, not Napolitano, Not Chicago. It's 8 1/2 pizza. Is this "Richmond Style" pizza? I think it might be. The dough is rich and crispy. The sauce is fresh and a little spicy. I love that i can get roasted green peppers on a pizza which is unheard of. Subs are large and flavorful. My favorite combo is to get the pizza with the eggs in tuna sauce and dip the pizza crust in the tonnato sauce. I'm not usually thinking about about buying eggs in tuna sauce in a take out place, but rethink this. I'm not even a tuna person and this is one of my favorite dishes in Richmond. Call ahead, you will wait. While you wait you'll be tempted into buying some of their retail products like high quality lentils or pasta to cook at home. Can't go wrong with 8 1/2.

Pizza perfection. The perfect dough, perfect spicy sauce, perfect amount of cheese and toppings. You can taste every aspect of the pizza. Delicious!!!! Only downside is there's not seating.

Always over priced, with below average quality. Family members have brought me meals from them. All have looked & tasted as if cooked by amateurs. Most recently I got spaghetti with meat sauce: overcooked spaghetti, no sauce, about a tablespoon-ful of finely crumbled beef, & lots of finely chopped carrots.

This pizza is underrated for Richmond with some trendy places opening up lately. But 8 1/2 still slaps. Love the sandwiches too. No seating but solid takeout.

This is the best pizza in RVA by a considerable margin. The crust is crisp and pliable, great simple sauce and the toppings were excellent. The green peppers were roasted - which I recommend highly.

Some of these reviews are totally off. These guys literally have the best pizza you will ever eat. If you burned your mouth eating it that's your own damn fault LMAO

Very expensive for what you get, especially for a take out only place. Tuscan tomato soup tastes nice- but is tiny for $7 of soup. Eggplant parm doesn’t come with pasta (I guess I could have asked but would’ve expected it given the steep price) and is very expensive- sauce has good flavor but the dish is soggy. I’d say the portions were good if the price was cut in half- we racked up a $75 bill for 2 people.

the pizza was delicious until I pulled out about three hairs out of one slice of pizza. there was hair throughout the entire pizza baked in. the many other times I have eaten from here, the food has been stellar and I've never had any previous issues. it was disappointing, however the service was very friendly and helpful.
