Fantastic food and has recently expanded into a drive thru. Highly recommend even for those shy of trying new things, the staff are very friendly and willing to explain

Anyone visiting Abuelita’s restaurant for the first time, especially if you’re from out of state, like me 😊 I highly recommend trying their tacos Birria de barbacoa. They are absolutely fire, and you won’t regret it!

Had an amazing chicken tinga burrito today. Biting into it was almost like a soup dumpling but in a really comfy sort of way. The tortilla is crispy which added a nice texture. My wife ordered a birria burrito and the beef was so flavorful and tender, so I also would highly recommend that in tacos or burritos.

I never ever post reviews, but we just moved to N. Chesterfield area. Stumbled into this place. This is a MUST go to. The food is not your typical Mexican, this is VERY authentic and a solid 4.9 out of 5. Highly recommend, and the Margarita is very good also ( won’t get you drunk, but taste incredible) so if in area and hungry this is a MUST!!!!!!

I got the barbacoa taco, birria taco, a margarita, and chips and salsa/guac. The tacos were good, but the birria taco didn't come with comsumé which I thought was weird. The salsa had okay flavor, but I wish there were more onions and cilantro in it. The spice level had three peppers, but it barely had any spiciness to it at all. The margarita was not good at all, would never get again. It tasted like the cheapest mix you could possibly get. All in all I would go again for some decent tacos, but I wouldn't make this my go-to.
