I got the barbacoa taco, birria taco, a margarita, and chips and salsa/guac. The tacos were good, but the birria taco didn't come with comsumé which I thought was weird. The salsa had okay flavor, but I wish there were more onions and cilantro in it. The spice level had three peppers, but it barely had any spiciness to it at all. The margarita was not good at all, would never get again. It tasted like the cheapest mix you could possibly get. All in all I would go again for...
Good food, good value, friendly and helpful staff. There really isn’t anything to complain about here. I love how the options keep changing - hard to get tired of the offerings here. Will be back.
Anyone visiting Abuelita’s restaurant for the first time, especially if you’re from out of state, like me 😊 I highly recommend trying their tacos Birria de barbacoa. They are absolutely fire, and you won’t regret it!
