We got to Aha at 2pm, half an hour before close. Food was ordered promptly and was delicious. Highly recommend the Chicken 65 Dosa with the Ginger Chutney and Onion Chili Uttapam. They allowed us to stay after close and did not feel rushed to leave. Atmosphere was nice. Highly recommend
Food was so bad I threw up in their parking lot. They should’ve paid me $20 to eat that.
The food was not good, I ate masala dosa but I feel the potatoes masala was old so I can feel the taste of it very bad food.
Visited this place for the breakfast and regret it. We got idly and poori and both very disappointing. We didn't even take a bite of idly, it was stale and hard at the edges, you can tell it was made a long ago and they just re heated and gave it.
Will not come back to this place for breakfast.
Perfect place for Indian food
Delicious Currys and breakfast and biryanis too good
Appetizers also too good perfect place for good Indian food …
The biryani is over cooked I regularly eat here but from past couple of times the quality is not good.
Late food service
A great spot to have breakfast/brunch. My dosa and idly vadai combo was just what I needed on a cold day in Virginia. Food tasted very much homemade. Their menu looked very reasonably priced and service was very quick as well.
The folks who took and served my order were very polite and their ambience was casual and great for groups. I highly recommend it for those in and around Richmond.
Tried their Vijayawada SPL chicken Biriyani and cashew chicken. One of its kind. Great taste.
All-time favourite!
Different times we visited Aha Indian Kitchen, and we always had an amazing experience. The ambiance was warm and welcoming. We were able to taste nearly every item on their extensive menu. The traditional dosas were very delicious with real South Indian flavors. They offer very good non-veg and veg thalis. Being a biriyani lover, my husband was particularly fond of their mutton keema biriyani and mutton dum biriyani. Their appetizers are also very tempting. Each item has a very good blend of spices which reflects on the flavor of the dish. The staff was attentive and friendly. The wait time was not excessively long. We always advice all of our friends to visit this place to experience the authentic flavor of India.
Following were the items we tried out:
Appetizer- Punugulu, Medu Vada, Mirchi Bajji, Pav Bhaji, Chicken 65, Chilli Chicken
Main Course- Noodles, Masala Dosa, Mutton Dum Biriyani, Mutton Keema Biriyani, Veg/Non-veg Thali
Restaurantji Recommends
Had a small gathering of 10, everyone loved the food. The staff was very supportive and polite
Bring your Spoon to eat !! This restaurant doesn't have spoons since morning..
The masala dosa and onion uttapam were packed with incredible flavor of authentic South Indian. Highly recommended!
i ordered a gongura chicken biryani family pack for to go and that's on spicy of 10/10 and it's not even spicy and there is no gongura flavor
Went on a dosa night (DN). Food was amazing, but wait for refill of dosas was too long to enjoy a meal.
