food was average. there was a spider in my rice. service was not the best, but there was only one girl hosting, bartending, and serving. I gave her a pretty hefty tip because I felt bad for her. manager needs to step up and hire more staff. probably will not return, food was cold and was plated in an unappetizing manner. the plants inside are nice, although probably where the spider crawled from.

Food was good until we found a hair in the curry we ordered. I have purple hair and my friends hair is short so it was definitely one of the cooks. Noodles were way overcooked but the flavor was ok. We unfortunately lost our appetite due to the hair.

The man who took my order on the phone was very rude. I asked for extra sauce on the phone and he told me that is not how Pad Thai is supposed to be and he doesn't know why people ask for that. I insisted that I prefer extra sauce. When I received my food my request was fulfilled regarding adding extra sauce, however, the taste of the Pad Thai itself lacked flavor. The food and service was awful and my food was cold. I definitely won't come back and I only came here because Patio Thai was closed.

The food here is delicious, I know many who love this place. The food smells as good as it tastes.

Ordered Pad See-Ew and Kanom Jeeb via Uber Eats. Pad See-Ew is a flavorless blob of bland, unseasoned chicken with barely sauced noodles. Really, not worth ordering at all. The Thai dumplings were a bit better, but probably only because they came with a dipping sauce. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.

Ordered four food items for dinner. Enjoyed them that night and for lunch the next day.If you’re picking up, order by calling restaurant; otherwise, they have to pay a considerable amount to company you use to place order.

Tasty food. Fair deal. Amazing owners who, in 2010, pulled off a fantastic renovation job to the entire establishment. Great merchants & neighbors to have in RVA.

Order to go from here pretty regularly. They only do to go. The chicken drunken noodles is delicious! I think this is one of the better Thai food places in Richmond.

One of my favorite places to get Thai food. A little pricey, but what isn't in this city. Whenever I'm craving curry, they're my go-to spot. Beautiful portions with plenty of rice to eat with it. If you're ever thinking of treating yourself or someone else to an awesome, authentic meal go to Elephant Thai!

After several great meals from Elephant Thai during peak Covid, we are disappointed with our most recent and likely last meal from them. The chicken in the satay was overcooked, dry, and tough. And the once delicious peanut sauce is now runny and flavorless. We ended up throwing 90% of it into the trash. Overall, the crispy rolls were fine. The sauce, however, was mostly solid and odd. Our chicken Pad Thai was sitting in a pool of liquid, but did have nice spice and flavor. After years of great food, I hope this experience was a one-off.

Ordered spicy noodles and it's not spicy at all with barley any chicken! Chicken satay is the thinnest chicken I have ever tried to eat, key word is tried because it is so over cooked and dry it is inedible! Chicken leather! Even the Thai iced coffee is filled with coffee grinds. The entire meal is a disappointment and I will never be ordering from them again!

The seafood Thai fried rice was absolutely horrible. I paid over twenty dollars for the dinner/regular portion last night and paid ten dollars for a delivery fee through Uber Eats, plus their fees, and it wasn't worth my money at all. How do you have the audacity to charge someone that kind of money for fried rice and put imitation crab in it. Not only that, the shrimp tasted boiled and wasn't seasoned at all. The entire meal wasn't seasoned and had a very bland and steamed taste to it. I took two bites of it and moved my fork around in it like Gordon Ramsey does, then threw it in the trash. A complete waste of $40 plus dollars. This was an embarrassment to anything representing Thai food. You all should be ashamed of yourselves for letting something like this leave your restaurant.
