I went here like 3 or 4 years ago at this point. I still think about the Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti that I got here. It is one of my favorite meals I ever had. I thought I already left a review. I guess not.

Service took way too long and the restaurant was not busy. Food was ok, and atmosphere was just ok. Not impressed, with any of it. I wouldn't go back

The food was good, not the best Italian food I’ve had but it was delicious. Service was amazing and respectful. I highly recommend.

Went back recently after a few years away from Richmond and it was still great as ever. Chef Michael, Denise and the staff were fantastic and the food and mood were as well. Our go to for great Italian when in Richmond.

Loved the experience. Came in for a bite before a show at the Altria the food was still on my mind by curtain call. Our server was so open to help us get the most out of our night.
Petitions are large and everything was fresh.

Impeccable kitchen - professional service. Sat. night is an overwhelming scene - weeknight is quiet and intimate.

Authentic Sicilian. Over-the-top delicious food. Attentive, low-key service.

DO NOT EAT HERE. The owners are the rudest people I have ever met. I am horrified by how we were treated when They made a mistake and caused us a huge inconvenience.

Terrible service from the owner. They messed up a carry out order and could have cared less. Rude and not accommodating. Will never go there again.

Going to Angela’s was honestly a pretty disappointing experience. After waiting for 15 minutes with employees avoiding eye contact, we were finally sat in a corner by the door, where a draft blowed in our faces every time the door opened. We waited then for 25 minutes before our server came over to finally take our order.
After waiting an hour, the food finally came out, and it was fine besides the sauce splitting as soon as the pasta hit the table. We then wait another 20 minutes after finishing our food, desperate to be able to leave, for our server to bring the check. The price was, to be frank, ridiculous for the quality and service. After 2 and 1/2 hours of mostly waiting, we were finally able to pay and leave. I hope that they can try and hire some more servers, because understaffing seemed to be the cause of pretty much all of the issues.

We eat at Angela’s regularly and it is usually very good. Tonight was a different story. Our baked spaghetti and Fra Diavolo was at best mediocre. Not sure what the issue was but hopefully it was just an off night.

Came in on a weeknight for dinner with colleagues. Service was excellent. The décor and venue is very nice, it reminded me of an old-school, neighborhood Italian joint and then I found out they’ve been here over 40 years… sure did look like it. But it’s kept up beautifully! Their menu is HUGE! Loaded with all sorts of amazing Italian food! I had such a tough time deciding what to get, so I was able to try a couple of things by making one entrée an appetizer.

We started with their Money Bags and it was really good! Nicely made and creative! The flavors of everything in the “pouch” was incredibly matched with the flavors and texture of the sauce – so good! Next up was their Chicken Diavola and it was nicely made and huge! Lots of food on that plate!! It came with shrimp on top, those were fresh and huge shrimp. It was served over pasta with fresh spinach and all the flavors came together nicely.

Save room for dessert, they have a nice selection of them! I got their lemon mascarpone cake – It was great!

Overall, very nice dinner… I’ll definitely return!
