5 star restaurant in the truest sense of the word. Great service and atmosphere, I personally loved the aglio olio spaghetti which the chef was kind enough to make off the menu!

I have been to many Italian restaurants. I think Angela’s is the best! Service was excellent. The chef even made himself known to us, and was extremely friendly. The food is top notch. Me and my partner split calamari to start, and I had the chicken Marsala and he had chicken parmigiana and we cleaned our plates even with the portions being huge. We will return

The food here is fantastic. Chef Michael is dedicated to his craft and has been producing amazing dishes for 40 years! Michelle was our server as well and was so sweet and knew the menu like the back of her hand

Service and food are hit or miss. Salads are pre-made and never fresh, pasta is decent but usually too salty. Better options with friendlier staff are all around the area.

This is a true hidden gem! The outside appears to be a standard strip mall, but when you enter, you're transported to an elegant 1920's Italian restaurant with stained glass windows, brass railings, and rich wood. It feels like entering another world. The food and wine are delicious and the servers were friendly. I definitely recommend dining in this restaurant for date night and ordering a pizza to-go for those nights when you just feel like pizza at the house.

Always a favorite with excellent food, excellent staff and a quaint atmosphere. Definitely one of the best Italian places you will visit. Check them out for sure.

First time dining here (picked up to go) and it was fabulous. I had the shrimp scampi and was very impressed with the portion size—could easily have fed two people. The scampi had a lot of butter sauce, fresh garlic, and the prawns were large and perfectly cooked. The cherry on top was the hospitality. I didn’t catch the name of the lady in the front with the blonde hair pulled up into a neat bun, but she was a sweetie. Will return!

We’ve dined here previously and it was a wonderful dining experience each time. I’m from out-of-town and met my sister-in-law and adult niece for dinner this evening. It was disappointing in every way. Our server and service was abysmal and the food wasn’t even average. The salad was chopped romaine with a single slice of tomato on top. The bread rolls were old, dry and cold. My Chicken Marsala was plopped down so that the sauce was dripping off the sides of the plate. I couldn’t even place the fork or knife on the plate between bites without the handles becoming covered in sauce. The chicken was so tough and dry (even under the bath of sauce) that it was difficult to cut with a knife. My SIL and niece ordered the Chicken Parmesan dinner to share. The server brought their entree with no side plate. When they asked for a plate to share the entree, the server dropped a tiny bread plate in front of my SIL — and it had dried food on it. We had to flag the server down to request a proper plate. No separate salad or dinner forks are provided so be sure to keep your fork. The server NEVER came back to our table to ask if our food was ok or to check if we needed water or a second glass of wine. The server was too busy sitting in a booth eating dinner.
I will never be back and I would not recommend. Very disappointing. Too many other wonderful dining establishments in Richmond to patronize.
