Applebee's Grill + Bar

The absolute worse. I'm sitting here at the bar. I waited for 10 minutes before anyone even came behind the bar. Then I asked if she can just turn the channel on the TV. She said no she doeny know how. So then I asked the manager and she said she doesn't know how either. It's no wonder nobody is in here. Nobody working here wants to be here. I'll go to the next bar. Have a good day.

Shitty place. Got me the wrong order, and the burger & fries are nothing to expect. Below average quality. The burger is cold.

I was happy to learn that the restaurant was open - it is usually closed when I visit the Richmond airport. However, I quickly learned that it is better when it is closed. It really seems that this isn’t a real Applebees but a restaurant run by a food service company which has kept the Applebees sign. Food was terrible and burnt. It would be overpriced even if it were Applebees food. Servers don’t even come to your table to take your order - you have to order with a QR code and pay before you ever get your food. Eat before you go to the airport!

Our waitress was Mel and she was super attentive, friendly and service was great. Ordered the boneless garlic parm wings (they were kind of hard but flavor was good) and the chicken/shrimp with mashed potatoes (SO delicious and hot). Prices were high, but I expected it eating at an airport.

My wife and I went to go eat here before she had to board, but when we went to be seated, the tables were disgusting. When we told the greeter he said he wasn't going to clean it because he was the only one here. This is the only place we could eat together, as I wasn't going on a flight. Do better.

Showed up to a filthy dinning area and it never got cleaned the entire I was in the dinning area. Finally was able to place an order, received our order, sat at the table with dirty dishes and empty glass of wine and beer. I should mention the store was very slow I don’t visit Applebees typically and I’m reminded why. I will never return and will definitely share with everyone I possibly can. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had at a major chain restaurant. To start, we sat at the bar, and it took about 15 minutes for a bartender to show up. The other server kept pacing around, saying that he was trying to find the bartender. When she finally showed up, she got part of our order wrong. The soda machine wasn’t working. When the meals were brought out, it took 10 minutes longer to bring the last one out, so we had to start eating without everything being there. A lot of the lettuce in the Caesar salad I got was wilted. The other waiter was walking around with his AirPods in, possibly talking on the phone while on the clock. In the middle of our meal, the bartender grabs her jacket and bag and says she’s leaving for 10 minutes. One family walked in and there was no where for them to sit because none of the tables had been bussed. Just a crazy bad experience overall, this location is doing a lot of damage to the Applebee’s brand.

Our server was charming. The prices are high but they always are at airports. Glad Applebees was here.

DO NOT GO HERE! Worst service ever! You will get better service from a homeless person. Restaurant had 3 other people there. Waited 1 hr for chicken wrap. Asked server 3x for status & she kept saying "it's coming." Totally incompetent. Should lose their franchise.
