Let me start off by saying I have worked in food service before, and this was Not It. I get that late-orders can be difficult or wrong, but not like this.The staff were somewhat friendly, especially the young man at the counter, I have nothing bad to say about it, it was standard.However, the /kitchen/ staff should have never served carnitas that were so hard they could not be chewed and tasted a day old. Completely inedible. If you are using meat that old, I will *not* be returning to this store. I was very excited to try what was reviewed to be, authentic Mexican cuisine, but I was not only disappointed, but left hungry by how spoiled the meat tasted and how hard it was.Late night orders are tricky, the best work around is to 86 a meal that looks inedible, or tell the customer directly that you are just out. To serve something that could potentially make your customers ill, like I got food poisoning from, is inexcusable.

i wanted carnitas based off their pictures online and tried ordering over the phone. i got home and open this, it doesn't look fresh at all and it's hard as rocks. carnitas are usually very juicy and soft even. i also asked for a side of guacamole and chips and they forgot that too. this is terrible.
These were undoubtedly the best tacos I've had from any Mexican restaurant in Virginia! I'm originally from South Texas and they reminded me of the ones I get from my favorite taco truck there.

I ordered from DoorDash. I got a Chorizo Breakfast Burrito. It was not bad. I was just really missing some red hot sauce. It's very filling and easily two meals. I didn't expect whole beans, but didn't mind it.The grilled scallions were huge! It was just missing some lime.Nothing major stood out.
