Guys…in-house Sprite? I’d drink it out of a flip flop. This is some of the crispiest Sprite™️ I’ve ever consumed. A bright and vibrant Sprite in a dark and divy atmosphere is what it means to be alive. If you want to live forever, add a shot of Rumpleminz.

My husband and I were passing thru Richmond on our way to a family Christmas party in Raleigh & stopped by Bamboo Cafe as recommended by a friend. We did not know what to expect but were blown away by the cozy booths, delicious food & warm and prompt service. Carla was fantastic & although this place appears as a dive bar, the filet mignon was 10/10!!! Will be back next time we are in town :)

I try really hard to get this place the benefit of the doubt but the service is absolutely terrible. The food is so good so it really sucks this happen but every time I’ve been there it’s been the same situation now.

You need to respect the regulars. They have their tables and they tip well so wait your turn. The food is great and so is the service. If you expect special treatment, go elsewhere. You earn that here.

They expect a huge tip after giving me 2 beers...mind you, I had to wait forever to sit, when I did, I was told had to get up for someone who waited less time...this is a horrible atmosphere

Such a unique and old bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is really great, the menu is simple, the food is great. Nothing to complain about with this place. All-around a solid choice.

The absolute rudest service I have ever experienced, will never come back.

The Boo is an institution ! Never disappoints. Been coming here since the 1980's. Highly recommend !!!

A cozy local bar with some great food, cheap beer, and lovely staff. The only issue is that it can get busy pretty quick, so finding a table can be a bit tough.
