I try really hard to get this place the benefit of the doubt but the service is absolutely terrible. The food is so good so it really sucks this happen but every time I’ve been there it’s been the same situation now.
You need to respect the regulars. They have their tables and they tip well so wait your turn. The food is great and so is the service. If you expect special treatment, go elsewhere. You earn that here.

They expect a huge tip after giving me 2 beers...mind you, I had to wait forever to sit, when I did, I was told had to get up for someone who waited less time...this is a horrible atmosphere

Such a unique and old bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is really great, the menu is simple, the food is great. Nothing to complain about with this place. All-around a solid choice.
The absolute rudest service I have ever experienced, will never come back.
The Boo is an institution ! Never disappoints. Been coming here since the 1980's. Highly recommend !!!
A cozy local bar with some great food, cheap beer, and lovely staff. The only issue is that it can get busy pretty quick, so finding a table can be a bit tough.
Bartender is a jerk off ask owner to call 4 times no call think they own Galaxy diner too terrible cant even make a call back
Restaurantji Recommends
Bartender horrible bad attitude
My wife and I are new to the fan and we’re methodically checking out all the restaurants within walking distance of our home. Bamboo came up and as an option so we gave it a try. Extremely neighborhood oriented spot and, as newcomers, the staff couldn’t be bothered to tear away themselves from the more familiar. We were greeted however by a mouse scurrying across the floor by our booth. He was clearly not a visitor and seemed very comfortable and at home. Clearly, the mouse was a part of the neighborhood. When I pointed out to the waitress that they had a mouse, she seemed unsurprised and nonchalant, as if he was, indeed, a regular. Perhaps he had a name - let’s go with Frank. Frank was a part of the usual crowd - like Norm. Anyways, we had already ordered by the time Frank appeared so we ate. Burger was benign and uninspiring. My wife had chili which she said was good and a side salad which had stale greens but fresh tomatoes. So, atmosphere - not welcoming, food - ok and service - perhaps you should ask Frank.
