We just enjoyed our first-ever trip here after living in Richmond for 7 yrs🤦🏻♂️. What a wonderful meal! Wonton and Hot&Sour soups, delicious. Green bean appetizer were perfect flavor and snap. The crispy chicken wing appetizer with the cilantro-jalapeño and chili pepper toppings still have me sniffling. I enjoyed the Numb-numb steak with side of jalapeño fried rice, but we also had Lo-Mein and Crispyhoney pepper meal. Service was stellar with Charlotte serving and on point.
Met a friend who frequents here and was not disappointed. The green beans are absolutely the very best beans on the planet!! And the crab Rangoon was also top notch. However, when we got to the main, the beef was a bit too fatty for me unfortunately, hence the 4 stars. The flavor was amaaaaazing though!! I think it was brocoli beef and we added mushrooms. It was truly delish but the meat was just not the best cut. My friend told me that was def unusual though so I’ll be back.
I also LOVE when a GM or whomever comes around and makes themself visible. Of course, I didn’t say a word to them when he did ask…but maybe I should have come to think of it…I guess why they come check on everyone huh….🤔
Overall, really more like 4.5 stars, but I’ll be back and update.

My parents and I dined here this past Sunday (6/8/25). We had been looking for new Chinese places to try and found this online. The atmosphere and decor were lovely. Our server (I didn’t catch her name, she said it too fast - the tall, slim one with the lisp) was attentive to our table and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered the Crispy Tempura Eggplant, Fat Dragon Lo Mein with BBQ Pork, and Crispy Honey Pepper Chicken. We enjoyed all 3, though the Lo Mein was a bit salty, but not overbearingly so. We had a pleasant experience and recommend this place 10/10.

Walked in at 8:15 to eat and was told they were closed and stopped servicing food. Online and door says they close at 9. I guess they have seating for 45 more mins.

I've been consistently impressed by the quality and consistency of their dishes. Whether it's the fragrant and tender Peking duck, the flaky fish, the fei-lone beef, or the flavorful stir-fries, each bite is a delight. The sauces are rich and well-balanced, never overpowering the main ingredients. Even the simplest dishes, like their fried rice or lo mein, are elevated to something special. It took us a while to find good Chinese food around here, so we were so happy to have been introduced to Beijing on Grove! The food is delicious and the servers are always kind and helpful. It’s clearly a favorite in the area because the wait times are long during peak hours, so we’ve learned to get here early!

Had an amazing meal here. The Basil Chicken, Gyoza, and Blackberry Cider were all fantastic. Reasonably priced, too. I would eat here again immediately.

Beijing on Grove is one of my favorite restaurants. Their food tastes fresh and delicious every time. I especially love their wonton soup! The menu offers a variety of delicacies for any palate. Their duck is succulent, and I always enjoy the pineapple fried rice (with chicken). The wait staff is attentive and accommodating. Sitting inside can be cool (temp/air on your neck), but the patio seating is awesome when the weather is right. I love coming here for an inexpensive meal that always leaves me satisfied! Their gyoza and green beans are divine!

Fried eggplant is a hidden gym. Best appetizer in the area if you are ok with a little heat. Then go for the tangerine beef. You won’t regret it.
