This is the most authentic underrated gem Mexican restaurant in Richmond. So next time you want real Mexican taco, quesadillas or other Entrees, this is the place. They do not spoil Mexican authenticity to impress customers. In case you love Americanized Mexican food, they still have that as separate 'tex-mex' option. So in short, if you love Mexican food, whether authentic or not, you will get both here. You can collect your sauce from buffet counter, so you can take as much as you need, do not need to ask again and again. The available sauces are so delicious. FlawlessTo elaborate, 5 star service and quality every single time. Quesa birria is outstanding, but my usual order is the street tacos for a few bucks less and equally outstanding. Fries are amazing and even better with the guacamole sauce from the free condiment bar. Everything is better with the guacamole sauce, especially the beans. (If you ordered the birria, throw the leftover consommé in there too.) Tomatillo sauce is also very good. The sauces and mild pickled onions and fresh radish make it for me. Keeps it fresh and vibrant. Fast service too. I live half a mile away and they still beat me every time.
Went there yesterday with my wife, first time, saw 4.8 review before going, this was totally misleading, food was great, greeter hiding behind counter talking on cell phone the whole time, place was not very big, blasting sound of music, bar of salsa and etc was not kept well, and when food was ready someone brought food out and placed on counter and said something didn't know it was ours, would have been nice to bring it to us, other than food being good, bad experience, don't recommend, due to atmosphere and dirty, overall and poor custome experience

This is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in all of Richmond. The staff is great, the place is clean and my girlfriend and I love the food here!!!
My girlfriend and I ended up here on a whim and this place has become our favorite taco spot in the city. The customer service is always so nice and the tacos so full.

The best birria in RVA!!!Their quesabirria tacos - I dont even need the consume - so good on their own!!Tried it in quesadilla form tonight with the birria & was BLOWN AWAY by the portion & flavoring!! Definitely dip in the consume - but with the addition of the peppers & onions that arent with the tacos, this was AMAZING.Not to mention, I am always warmly greeted here! The wait for food is never long!
