Big Herms oyster poor boy sandwich was the best I have had in years. Combine that with the delicious cornbread and collard greens and we had an over the top lunch. Don’t be put off because the chairs and tables don’t match. This place is all about the quality of food and friendly folks that make it. So lucky this is right around the corner from my daughter’s house. Can’t wait to come back. Note Big Herms is not open on weekends.

Food was extremely disappointing chicken had no flavor and was burnt the mac and cheese had no taste jus cheese and noodles just terrible save your money

Was not amused by the quality of the food. Ordered chicken wings which tasted burnt with no seasoning and was only sufficed by the ranch dressing. The Mac and cheese also was not good. The cornbread caught me by surprise and it had actual corn inside was not amazed. I really had high hopes being that it’s a soul food restaurant

Love Big Herm's .. their old restaurant 'The Corner' was my parents favorite restaurant for a while.. so we ate there often when I was growing up! I still like to go to Big Herms! Great sides, them yams !! nah it's the mashed sweet potatoes ? ? ❤️‍?❤️‍?
