I was leaving an appointment and stopped for lunch. I absolutely love the buffalo Mac, and the absolute best brownie I ever tasted. The staff were fine a very prompt with my order.

The Mac was cooked to perfection, reminded me of how my grandma used to make it. The brownies were amazing as well, perfectly moist.

I would give 0 stars but it doesn't give me that option.Horrible service. I paid 23 dollars for chicken tenders and Mac and cheese as soon as I paid they gave me my box so I didn't even get it cooked to order. The tenders were hard as a rock and dried out and the Mac n Cheese was cold and spoiled.I was so disappointed this foodtruck comes to my job at St Francis every other week and this was the first time I ordered from them. I will be letting my patients and coworkers know not to order from there. Usually I order from food trucks 3 times a week, I love the authentication of food trucks and the flavor. But this was the worst food I've had from any restaurant or food service place.

First time I tried this place was the food truck and I really enjoyed it. I moved to Richmond and found out this place was in the area and had a store front. Here is my thoughts:1.) Parking is available but it’s a small area2.) Store needs tables but I have been told they are going to add some.3.)People working there are very nice.4.) Mac is super good but a little bit pricey. Did take 10mins to get food but they cook to order so it’s fresh and it was.Overall I would recommend this place, the Mac is decent size for one person and packed with flavor. Like I said it is a little expensive probably would be a more fair price if it was a dollar or two cheaper. Definitely worth trying once and I will be back to get some more mac sometimes.Dietary restrictions: Currently no Gluten Free OptionsParking: Parking lot is small and can be tough to find spot with other places sharing the space.

I was driving to another restaurant when the decorative sign caught me and girlfriend’s eye, so we decided to go there instead of trying out something else. We pulled up the website and saw that it would take at least 15 minutes for the food to be ready and that we should place the order online, that wasn’t a problem. I ordered the Buffalo Mac and the total came out to about $15! Already I was questioning my choice, $15 for Mac and Cheese is already a little absurd, just considering the fact that I know I could’ve gotten practically the same thing at a spot in NYC called S’Mac for about 3$ less, but anyways. Maybe I’m cheap, but I was hoping the $15 would mean I was getting a good deal on a bowl big enough for two. When I got to the store and got my bowl I was severely disappointed at the serving size. The amount of food in there was definitely not worth the price. The food itself was very very good, 5 star worthy probably if they gave some more. But about 5 bites in to my “meal” I was nearly finished and had to set it aside to enjoy for later. They should add more macaroni in there. Thanks

This was my first time trying this place. I made my order on the kiosk and waited 25mins for our food. Mac, tenders, and fries. Was excited when I got home to try the food! The Mac was $14. The food in the container was scarse. It was hardly enough for 2 small servings. The tenders were ok. The fries were $7. I was disappointed with the little amount of fries in the container. It was almost as if they ran out of fries and gave me what was left. There was one employee working on a Friday night. She did not look enthusiastic to be there which was understandable. There was only one bench available to sit on and it was already taken. We had to stand while we waited 25mins for our order. Food wasn't bad but I think the portions were very small. But that may also have to do with the employee working that night

I don't see where the nutrition facts are on their website. Does this restaurant use trans fats in their cooking? How many grams of saturated fat? Impossible to find out. I thought it was an FDA requirement to have the nutrition facts available

Tried BIGWIFE’s for the first time tonight and absolutely loved it! The heartiest, yummiest comfort meal on a cold winter night. We tried the classic Mac and cheese, Mac Lorraine, and the wedge salad. Everything was delicious, but the Mac Lorraine stood out as our favorite. Will most definitely be back soon.

This is the epitome of a delicious, creamy, explorative Mac & cheese! The taco meat in the Fiesta Mac was seasoned so well yet didn't take over the Mac- delicious. We put our order in and it took me a while to finish up my errands to make it there to pick it up, but it tasted hot and fresh when we finally got to eat it! My boyfriend and I both ate our own bowls, I made it through half of mine before being insanely stuffed and even he couldn't finish his, so the portions are GREAT!5/5, can't wait to get this again.

I really wanted to like this place. I LOVE a good mac and cheese, but the food and the experience let me down. I ordered the Balboa Mac, Mac Lorraine and Buffalo Mac. They were all decent, but not good. Each one tasted like something I could have made at home. I placed the order online and when I entered the restaurant to pick up (which is cute and clean), I was not greeted by the only employee that was working. After I stood there for a minute or two while he was changing the music from his phone, he eventually asked me what I ordered. No hello, no how are you, no what can I do for you! I read online how they package your food up nicely. I didn't get that treatment or they've stopped. All three orders were stacked on each other in a plastic Thank You bag. I would possibly forgive the lack of customer service, but for $14 a pop, the portion size was not adequate. Add the fact that each Mac and cheese was just ok, I will continue my best Mac and cheese in RVA search.

Went in with high hopes. Came out paying 18$ for a rather small portion. Seems more like casserole than mac. Taste was rather lackluster for what you pay. Would say it’s essentially an 8$ bowl that’s overpriced.

I placed a pick up order and it only took about 15 mins to be ready. I picked it up about 10 min late but the food was still hot. It tasted fantastic and the worker was also respectful.

I got the fiesta Mac. It was good, just needed a little bit more cheese.Such a fun atmosphere and the workers were very nice! Also got a free sample of the brownie and it was so good!

Just moved to the area and was really looking forward to trying this place.I had a takeout order with two macs and I had to wait around 45 minsThe food was okay, it wasn’t super hot. I got the Caprese, and the mozzarella wasn’t completely melted, I had to cut it up. My boyfriend got the Buffalo Mac, I tasted it and it was pretty good as well. You can tell it was seasoned and prepped well, it just needed a little extra time. Considering I had to wait awhile I was expecting it to be a little more hot/freshThe biggest thing I’m disappointed in is the management. It was a Friday night, and the poor man working there was by himself. I also found out that it was his first day. He was still in training and working a Friday rush by himself. I’ve worked in food for a long time, from small to big businesses- and quite honestly this is unheard of. He was very friendly and was doing a great job given the circumstancesSince this place is so close to me, I’d be willing to try it again. I love the atmosphere, and I love supporting small businesses. But $15 for a small portion of lukewarm Mac and cheese isn’t something I’d rave home about. I also really hope management properly trains and supports their employees in the future

Sooo sooo delicious! Why did we wait so long to try this place? We see it every time we drive up Boulevard or hit Starbucks. My boyfriend told me dinner was on him tonight and declared it to be the night we try BigWife's. I decided on the Truffle and he got the Lorraine. I want to preface this by saying I don't usually really like macaroni and cheese, at least as more than a side. It's just too rich. I was happily surprised when my mac and cheese was the flavorful but not overly creamy. The cauliflower was also a nice addition and made me feel better about eating my entire bowl of macaroni and cheese. P.S. the chicken fingers were good but very salty. My boyfriend was underwhelmed. I think it would be really cool if they had a restaurant in RVA specializing in chicken provide the chicken or collaborate with them! Give this place a try and make your stomach happy!
