Blanchard's Coffee Company

While visiting Richmond this weekend, we found the coffee to be as expected.

Unfortunately the vibes and staff are equally cold. They were giving us “go get coffee somewhere else” and stoic. It’s a shame.

Good matcha, reasonably priced, nice service and cute atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Best coffee in Richmond, hands down

As someone who frequents local coffee shops AND gives workers a lot of grace when it comes to customer care, I am baffled by the hostility and lack of customer service in this shop. It's disheartening and unfortunate, especially for a shop with great coffee and so much potential.

Mobile orders extremely fast.

I love coming here! Their seasonal drinks are so fun :)

Just as a heads up - half the pictures on the Google maps listing for Blanchards are actually of an entirely different business called “Stella’s”, an upscale convenience store, which shares a building with Blanchards. Both are great but Blanchards doesn’t sell full sized cakes, chips, prepared foods etc.

Coffee and service is always good. I wish Blanchard's in general had more pastries/food. This location in particular often has nothing left unless you get there first thing in the morning.

It’s ok. The coffee is pretty good, but expensive. The shop itself is very cold and kind of un-welcoming, I don’t particularly like going there.

Wouldn’t take their own gift card at the Broad Street location. After having a hard time parking & paid over $15 for 2 coffees….. if they are that hard up- they can have the damn gift card back. Happy to share w the firm that gifted this so they no longer support this place. Terrible, terrible to do that to customers who are there in person with a line behind them. Pitiful.

Love coming here. Good coffee and service. My only feedback is closing at 12pm on weekdays. Would love if it were open until at least 2pm. My .02

Blanchard's is a fantastic local coffee shop small chain in Richmond. They have arguably the best espresso in the area. Their pastries are okay but unremarkable. The seating is ample, and the wifi is fast. The staff are also very chill.

If you are looking for great espresso drinks, this is the place to go.
