Wouldn’t take their own gift card at the Broad Street location. After having a hard time parking & paid over $15 for 2 coffees….. if they are that hard up- they can have the damn gift card back. Happy to share w the firm that gifted this so they no longer support this place. Terrible, terrible to do that to customers who are there in person with a line behind them. Pitiful.

Love coming here. Good coffee and service. My only feedback is closing at 12pm on weekdays. Would love if it were open until at least 2pm. My .02

Blanchard's is a fantastic local coffee shop small chain in Richmond. They have arguably the best espresso in the area. Their pastries are okay but unremarkable. The seating is ample, and the wifi is fast. The staff are also very chill.
If you are looking for great espresso drinks, this is the place to go.

☕ very good. Ordered refill of black coffee, $3.52. Was told no discounts for coffee refills. I haven't experienced that anywhere else.

I never leave reviews for cafes but I was surprised at how delicious the drip coffee was. I got the Basecamp Fair Trade Organic drip. Peaceful and calm environment, music wasn’t too loud, and the bathroom was very clean. Thank you!

I stopped by on my way to work and was not disappointed. The service was friendly and quick. I had a pain au chocolate and an iced coffee today. I do recommend it and next time I’ll sit outdoors and work on some stuff.
Great cookies and coffee. When did they take the cookies away? Used to get them all the time now not avail :(

The signature coffees are so good!! The service always top notch. I love getting whatever their signature latte is on ice with some oatmilk.

Popped in to get a bag of Blanchard's whole beans that was gifted to me run through a grinder. The staff was busy but were able to graciously take care of my request. I was in and out with freshly ground beans plus a hot cup of coffee in under 10 minutes, which on a busy Friday morning is totally reasonable.
Parking: Parking is a little tight and tricky to navigate when it's a busy morning.

I've been a patron of Blanchard's for almost 5 years now. Coffee is excellent quality, service is typically super friendly. I was surprised when I bought my wife a holiday gift from Blanchard's, including this mug. We didn't run it through the wash, just hand washed in the sink like the barista said to do, and the artwork/logo started to peel off. I went back in to return it, get a credit or replacement mug but the barista kind of shrugged and said they couldn't help me out. At the very least maybe offer to cover a coffee or two. Thought that was weird -- for the $ we've probably spent there, and introduced dozens of members of our family and friends to the Blanchard's brand near and far -- I was really bummed out. I used to work in the service industry, for big companies like Patagonia and small brick and mortar shops where the customer was always right. The fact that the barista questioned me about this silly little mug (again, $12, kind of steep, but also not a big deal for Blanchard's in the long run) struck me as an odd customer service choice. At the very least, I thought they could swap it out, maybe it was a manufacturing error or something. But I went on my way and have a pretty bland (pardon the pun) yellow mug. I really wanted to rep their brand and get my family a few other things this season. But with little confidence on the quality (again maybe this is totally out of their control, but should be addressed as she mentioned others who bought mugs had the same exact issue and were able to get a replacement ...?). Anyhow, I wont be purchasing any other shop items in the future as I don't feel confident about the quality. As someone who currently works in brand and advertising, this felt like a miss. Best coffee shop in Richmond, but a bit of a gamble on the customer service and product quality.
