Extraordinary experience. The food was exceptional, inventive, flavorful, unique. Our server, Sterling, is top in his field. He knew the dishes and the wine list inside and out. A true professional, highly skilled in his craft. His recommendations were spot on. I highly recommend searching Blue Atlas out. It's the best meal I have had in Richmond and the best service I have had anywhere on the globe in years.

Service: Sterling was a top notch server, knew the menus food/wine) very well and the recommendations were excellent. We had the Lamb Shawawarma, Kessler Rippchen (pork chop) and crispy harissa cauliflower appetizer - wow. The pumpkin cake was dense, with maybe caramel in the bottom layer and roasted pumpkin seeds (a sauce that I can't remember contents but yummm). Highly recommend for date night!

Awesome food and a great patio if the weather is nice.

Overall this restaurant is an experience. It's a nice place to go if you're having a date, special event or just an evening out with friends. I definitely wouldn't go on an empty stomach or with a family with kids. The portions are small and meant to be shared, similar to a table of appetizers. The establishment is nicely decorated and the outdoor patio has a nice view of the city and Fulton bottom. I'd be willing to go again.

Great place for a date night. Small plates to share, so frequent visits from server with amazing food to keep the night flowing right along. Expect to spend at least $100, but it's week when it with the quality and the view. Recommend making a reservation

Fantastic food and vibes all around! The patio area is beautiful and we saw the most gorgeous sunset. Can’t really go wrong with anything on the menu. The drink specials were a great recommendation! Shoutout to our server, Lilian (hope I spelt it right) :) she was awesome! The only thing I’d say is that there were a lot of babies around (including one in our group) and it’d be nice to have a changing table in the bathroom!

I attended the Vegan Takeover a month ago and it was the best dining experience I have had in a very long time. If this was a vegan restaurant it would most certainly warrant 5 stars! The Vegan Takeover consisted of small shareable plates served in courses. Each one was my favorite until the next one arrived. Though I went with friends and sat on the market side, it would be a great choice for a date night with your favorite vegan foodie seated in the more formal dining room side!

Loved our time there. Our waiter was great . We had some very noisy people next to us and being deaf and wearing hearing aids made it extra loud. But that was definitely no fault of the Restaurant. I really enjoyed the fact that we could share the food. I can’t recommend this Restaurant more highly. Then afterwards the views and Sunset were very spectacular to wander out there and admire.

Our go-to for special occasions, delicious options that change seasonally, and great service. Super accommodating to our dietary restrictions, including mocktails and non alcoholic bubbly. Get the cauliflower!
