Brambly Park has become a sort of club house for my family and our friends. My 90 year old Dad and I come here for our lunch dates. We also celebrate birthdays, lady hospital hours, and dinners with friends … all at Brambly. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and responsive. We love the HH deals on wine and pizza. The pizza is divine! We prefer to sit on the covered porch as it can sometimes be a bit noisy on the inside (and we love getting to hear the trains).Brambly as a little something for everyone.

I took my first trip to Brambly park on Saturday and it was very busy. Which is fine but we’d normally be upset with the long wait time for a server to come to us and the food taking so long. The manager Benny apologized, brought us a snack, made sure that we were taken care of once brought to his attention. Great food! Greater service! We’ll be back again.

My fiancée and I reached out in February to arrange a table reservation for 50 guests for our wedding celebration in April. After much hassle, she managed to confirm our reservation over the phone with Brambly staff on March 6th. We were told to expect food order forms via email to help their kitchen and staff prepare. Instead, we were met with complete silence.Despite numerous attempts to reach out throughout this entire month—calls, voicemails, emails—my fiancée was consistently ignored. This lack of response has left us in an awkward & stressful position, especially since we had already sent out invitations with Brambly Park's details to our guests. It seemed as though every attempt to communicate was met with evasion; promises of assistance remained unfulfilled, leading us to frantically secure an alternative venue at the last minute. What makes this situation incredibly frustrating is our previous affection for Brambly. We've celebrated birthdays and enjoyed many date nights there, which made it our preferred venue to celebrate our wedding with loved ones. It's baffling and deeply disappointing that they would forsake the revenue and gratuity due to sheer unresponsiveness.Brambly Park's disregard for communication, respect, and consideration has been a major inconvenience during what should be a joyous planning process. I can only hope they address these internal issues promptly to prevent further disappointment for others.

Brambly Park is so much fun. Aside from the winter time they have a great pet friendly, outdoor section with wait staff and a live stage for music. On my first trip to Brambly Park, a group of three (+ dog) sat outside, had delicious pizza and listened to a jazz trio that was awesome. They also have a proper dining room with I a more expansive menu. If you care to move inside the indoor space is a proper restaurant with a bar and stylish decor. They really did the indoor and outdoor sections right. Choosing which experience to have I would say depends on your mood (and the weather). You can't go wrong here. If you're there with a bigger group and care to be a little bit rowdy there's an enclosed large outdoor patio that will keep you warm and dry that offers big tables and an atmosphere more centered around fun. The food is great regarding both the pizza menu and the dinner menu. The bar offers cocktails, beer and wine and the staff has in every case been friendly and pleasant. Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter - all are good for Brambly Park. Located in Scott's Addition on a far street that almost makes you feel like you're leaving the city, there's plenty of parking though when they're at their busiest you might struggle to find a spot. Having been a few times now this place is batting 300.

Phenomenal experience!!!!! Hands down the best staff any restaurant could ever ask for. My fiance proposed and the staff was unbelievably kind to us!!! Only reminds us of how amazing people can be!

I want to start by saying that our waitress was great, and I don’t blame her for any of our issues. That said, we rented a yurt and half of our party has a gluten allergy. We ordered GF appetizers, and when they were brought out they were sat down and the food runner called them “gluten free.” We proceeded to eat, and about 10–15 minutes later the waitress came out and let us know the food was not gluten free. Not good, considering half of our party was gluten intolerant. When we got the bill, nothing was comped or discounted and we had to ask. We ended up getting the erroneous appetizer comped and 10% off, but this is potentially going to be a big problem for half of the people in our party. The manager never came to apologize, and had we not said something we wouldn’t have gotten anything taken off of our bill. The whole experience left us dissatisfied.

First and foremost, I never write reviews. I'm low maintenance, don't complain, and can figure things out despite a bad situation. That said, this was a bad experience and I felt the need to let others know who may book larger reservations. We had a large group reservation for a work meeting and I asked ahead of time if they could accommodate a quiet space for us to have a meeting and talk with little distractions. I was told that while they don't have a private room, and they couldn't control all outside noise, they would do what they could to accommodate a quiet spot for us given that our reservation was during a dead time of day and that it wouldn't be a problem for them to seat others away from our table. I even went several days ahead to check out the space and the manager said they would seat us away from other tables. Almost immediately the hostess started seating people near our table such that it didn't work, despite there being open, empty tables further away. I nicely asked the hostess if she could seat new tables that came in either inside or farther away that were vacant and she said she would. However, she purposely and deliberately sat the very next table, who were "walk-ins", even closer than the previous table. We would have stayed longer and spent more money but we had to end up quickly eating and move to a section outdoors that was closed, and ended up standing, to have our meeting. It was a very strange experience given the hostess deliberately doing the opposite of what I very nicely asked her not to do even though there were tables further away. I talked with several people afterwards and they shared similar experiences for larger group reservations. They said the staff was rude and not helpful. I experienced the same, unfortunately (mainly with the hostess). I wasn't expecting them to do the impossible. Had they truly been busy and had no other tables to seat but those that were close to ours, I would've understood (as that was the risk I was willing to take based on my conversation with the manager). But when the hostess deliberately sat people close to our table despite my nice request and there being tables further away, it was clear they didn't care about our business. If you're a small table, it may be a great place.

Such a cool atmosphere! Went this past summer and sat outside with my mom - enjoyed pizza and drinks. Saw some fun frogs out by the wooded area. Would be fun to bring the family to next time so the kids could run around the grassy area or do a girls night out! Loved my experience.

Talk about over-the-top great service. Alex is the best and her boss needs to give her a raise. I lost my keys at Brambly Park last weekend while visiting family (2.5 hours from where I live). Fortunately the keys had a fob on them and I realized that they were at Brambly. I called and Alex could not have been nicer and more helpful. She looked for them near our table and then again near our car. She found them hanging from a tree branch - thanks to some mysterious good Samaritan. Alex called me back with the good news and put my keys in the office safe. How serendipitous that my niece was taking her husband back to Brambly for a wine pairing dinner yesterday! Thanks you thank you. We will be back.

Hats off to the Brambly Park staff & kitchen over over this past weekend! The weather was freakishly beautiful (they were SLAMMED). Everyone was super friendly and hustling to accommodate the unexpected crowd. Being the off season for the park, I really commend the Brambly employees.Unfortunately, we had to endure an extremely rude group of people; they were in the yurt adjacent to us. They were trying to sneak their dogo inside. If you have ever had the pleasure of experiencing the Brambly yurts, they are fully furnished with leather couches / chairs / rugs. The staff made it clear, pups are not allowed inside (duh btw). This really upset them lol - they were unbelievably rude to the Manager on duty. She handled herself with grace. Luckily, they vacated the property on their own accord. Wise move, as the surrounding customers (including us) wanted so desperately to speak up on behalf of the staff.I will never understand the entitlement some folks have. Brambly has so many amazing attributes. It is by far the most dog friendly establishment in Richmond, with a park that is immaculately kept. Show a little love and respect to the servers, they have stressful job :)
