Used to love this place. It was an awesome neighborhood market and sandwich spot. Recently they have switched to having ghost kitchens and the quality of the sandwiches is very poor. Today they gave me my italian and turkey sub on soggy texas toast bread. Won't be going back which is a shame because the previous owner and staff were great and this was one of my favorite places in Richmond.

Very cute atmosphere to dine in! However, the sandwiches were not worth the price. The baguettes were stale and the toppings were very limited (one slice of mozzarella for the whole sandwich). Would recommend as a spot to split a bottle of wine and enjoy the atmosphere, rather than for the food.

What a great place to eat!! In the heart of Richmond, a beautiful place, and wonderful people. Delicious food and close to VCU? (and they serve vegan food too?) Go check them out!!

I went to this place to get lunch in my 30 min break since I work close by. Waited 25 minutes for them to cook my BV Burger. I've been a cook for 12 years it doesn't take that long to cook a burger. Not only was the burger taking forever but it was the smallest burger I've ever eaten... and for $17? What a rip off. At least it was small enough to finish in less than 5 minutes before my break was up. There was absolutely nothing special about it. Don't go to this place.

Charming atmosphere, personable staff, the meal was fresh and delicious! Enjoyed the free Friday night wine tasting. Will definately return!

Food was okay but the service was great. We would try it again if we were in the neighborhood.

Super cute place with a great wine selection! Staff are super sweet and attentive. Menu is simple but tasty and carefully prepared! Great selection of y the glass wines for a steal!

Not very friendly people, condescending and don’t appear to know how to run a business, I doubt they’ll last long. Not a warm vibe, I won’t be back.

Transphobia tastes REAL bad. In Pride month? Nah. Enjoy this one star and your bitterness

Cute place for dinner and wine! Wine tastings are setup on Fridays too, for a fun added perk.

Had this place on my radar for a while, kept putting it off because I didn't know much about it and I totally wish I hadn't held off! The people who work there are friendly and the sandwiches are wonderful! I've only tried the Portobello sandwich so far.. it's got an amazing little kick to it if you like a little spice as well! .. I love it so much I haven't been able to try anything else because I keep craving it, but I look forward to trying more things soon!

Great food. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and he will really take the time to help you find a great wine.

Not only is this guy the friendliest, most personable human I've met in Richmond, but he's also a sandwich wizard. I would scream my love for Branch and Vine from the rooftops if I could. It seems to me like this dude takes real joy in his work because every time we order from here, I feel like I'm getting a warm hug from my dad. He's always happy and has something funny to say or some way to connect with is customers, even if briefly.

awful experience. owner is rude and treats workers poorly, owner also seemed to be drunk on the job, he reeked of wine. ingredient quality has gone down since new ownership took over but prices have not been lowered. Used to work there under old management and was cut from the schedule under new management but went back to try it out and see how it was doing and honestly, not worth the money. also it feels bad to support a business that I know is run unfairly, owner does not pay workers fairly or treat them fairly, i honestly felt bad for the employees when I went in. There are so many other places that you can get a much better sandwich with higher quality ingredients and business that you can feel better about supporting.

I can't say enough good things about this awesome spot!! We love to pop in for tastings on Friday nights or to grab a yummy bottle of wine from their amazing selection. Aaron is so informed about the wine and has such a fun and friendly personality! They offer a great variety of food options and everything we've gotten has been so delicious!! It's a fun, comfy atmosphere and Jess and Aaron make you feel like part of the family!!We had the place to ourselves this past Saturday for a private party with a wine tasting and it was SO much fun!!! What a great place to have a private event! It was my birthday and they pulled out all the stops to make me feel special! We love this spot and the owners! Highly recommend checking out this gem in the Fan!!
