My partner and I were passing through town needing some breakfast and saw Brewers Cafe had great reviews so decided to stop by.. It did not disappoint! The coffees, Bainbridge Bagel sandwich, breakfast burrito were absolutely delicious and the service was incredibly friendly and fast. Will definitely be stopping by again :)

We stumbled on this cafe and couldn’t be happier we did! The shop had a great vibe, everyone behind the counter was so kind, the food was delicious, and the coffee was out of this world. We will definitely be back every time we visit Richmond!

Ajay Brewer left DC, opened a coffee cafe & partnered with Red Rooster Coffee Roaster out of Floyd, Virginia, to bag organically sourced beans that are bold, complex, and always ethically and sustainably grown. These fabulous beans transform into an uncompromisingly good cup of coffee - EVERY time.
Beyond the mug! Fan favorites are made-to-order sandwiches, including the house specialty: The Brewer’s Club—stacked with fresh turkey, Virginia ham, thick-cut bacon, and Sriracha mayo on toasted potato bread. NOT A MEAT Fan?? The Veggie wrap comes highly recommended!! Add in sweet treats from beloved local bakers like The Treat Shop, Poor Georgie’s Bake Shoppe, and Cupcakery, and you’ll understand why this spot has a loyal following. I opted for a simple toasted Bagel with cream cheese! Outside seating available and the weather was perfect.

Brewer's Cafe quickly became one of my go-to spots, not only because of its close proximity to my house, but mainly because of the amazing people who own it and their delicious food and coffee. The owners of this cafe are so genuine and really get to know you when you stop in. I loved seeing their kids helping them out by bringing in groceries or taking orders. It reminded me of when I worked in my family's coffee shop as a little girl. I truly appreciate a small, family run business and they do such a wonderful job.

I had the most delicious breakfast burrito with eggs, bacon, and lots of veggies at Brewer's Cafe this morning, along with a perfect iced Americano. The owners couldn't have been more lovely- what a great experience! I saw on the website that the breakfast burrito would take about 15 minutes, so I ordered ahead and it was ready when I arrived. I will definitely come here again!

Took 40 minutes to get a cup of drip coffee. The guy forgot to brew it and when I gently reminded him that I was waiting he said “oh shoot I forgot, that’ll be 15 minutes cuz I have to brew a new batch” 💀
DO NOT recommend. Very dirty and dusty, loud music, while the staff carried on a loud conversation across the space. Dirty chai latte was made via tea bags.

Great coffee, food, and good energy! A super rainy day sent me in search of coffee. Thankfully, Google recommended this place. The unexpected welcome from both of the owners was very genuine. The breakfast sandwich was so big that it was served to me later for lunch, and the extra touch of a banana was a nice treat. The coffee was superb. While waiting for my sandwich, I enjoyed a fantastic conversation with the owner. I enjoyed seeing him interact with his son as he was excitedly sharing his schoolwork. Seeing a dad so engaged in his son while balancing his patrons was endearing.
