The bar/restaurant at The Graduate hotel. Everything was unexceptional and fine. Order at the bar and food is delivered to you where you sit. A bit of a line first thing in the morning since it’s the same line as all the people ordering coffee.

We arrived for our reservation and were told the restaurant was not open and that they did not accept reservations. Only a buffet was offered with pay at the counter service and no menu was available. Again staff stated we did not have a reservation as that service was not offered. We did not stay for buffet breakfast.

The food was great, but felt like we were just eating in a rowdy hotel lobby. No waiters, we had to order at the bar. Not the "upscale" I was expecting.

Very poor. It is graduation day at VCU, and we need to be at the commencement at 8:30 AM. The place supposedly opens for breakfast at 7 AM (rather late). We get there a bit early and it is closed. We waited until 7:25 AM and it was still closed. Time was running out and we left without breakfast. That is unprofessional.

I thought $22/person was a little much especially for quality. It was mostly cold. And they had no decaf coffee either.

We are pretty sure our server forgot to put our order in as we watched 3 take that arrived after us eat and play their bill. The food was marginal. But decent for a hotel.

It's the hotel lobby. It's not a true restaurant. You order at the bar. The salmon bowl was fantastic. But if you're looking for a sit down with a restaurant feel, this isn't it. The front desk staff looked confused when we said we made a reservation. But the food was very good!

The croissant must have been left in the microwave so long that half of it was inedible. The three person I interacted with clearly did not want to be working today. The hotel attached is clearly trying to create a “college vibe”. That’ s great but without friendly service and descent food all that effort goes out the window.
