Experienced the inventive and delicious cuisine at The Market recently with friends, two of whom are Richmond residents and recent homeowners in the neighborhood. I had the vegetarian Napoleon and it was wonderful! Elegantly plated and memorably delicious. My companions enjoyed the mussels, the chicken, and the scallops. For dessert we shared the Chess brownie à la mode with chocolate drizzlings and whipped cream. SO good! Chef is really personable and enthusiastic about his craft. Highly recommend this little gem of a restaurant.

We came for dinner last Saturday night and absolutely loved it. The service was great, food was incredible (we did the fried green tomatoes, gnocchi, meatballs, burger, Napoleon, chicken, and mushroom sandwich), and we had plenty left for lunch the next day. Will be back soon! A neighborhood gem.

So I had given this place a 5- star review when it first opened but I am just so upset. This place was the BEST! The best beer selection with hard to find like "foreign objects" and delicious sandwiches. Their menu needed a bit of an upgrade and maybe some more options; especially with sides/desserts. Maybe some tables for people to eat there. BUT instead they just destroyed everything we loved about the place. Now it's suddenly "fine dining"; just dinner. RESERVATION ONLY. Literally all they did was throw out everything they built and made started over. No real specialty or direction. Poutine to pork belly to a whole baked fish. like confused??? They may be a nice dinner place... if they hadn't been so epic to begin with. Now I'm just so disappointed. We literally were in ALL the time. so sad

We had an excellent dinner at the Market last night. Mary and Chris split the pork belly, Caesar salad and steak. I had the grape salad and crab cakes (and took some of each home). Presentation was beautiful. All delicious. Portions really big. Interior stunning. And service excellent.

We went to this place when it was still a marketplace, but sweet baby Jesus they absolutely killed their first night as a restaurant. Every course was incredible. The bread was crisp and warm, the fried green tomatoes made me almost weep with joy, and the Napoleon and Chicken dishes were on par with the some of the greatest meals i've had in Richmond. Don't skip the Creme Brûlée! Our server Evan was attentive and lovely. We will certainly come back, hopefully before they become so famous you have to book weeks in advance.

Food was so delicious! It's a brand new business coming to the north side and I've got to admit that I am relieved that they did not disappoint. In fact they have gone above my expectations. The food was so delicious! We ended up driving by and saw that their daily special was a fried chicken sandwich. The size was pretty massive the the taste was flavorful! Something that larger pieces of chicken usually lack. Let's not forget about the sauce and the vegetables they used! The combination between the two were so so so delicious and you will not regret your purchase.

W'eve really enjoyed this place for the short time it's been open. It's currently transitioning to a restaurant style outside of the European market style and we couldn't be happier to see what additional food options they will provide. The best sandwiches and fries off of Brooklyn Park blvd. Highly recommended!

Wanted to try something I hadn't had yet so my buddy and I ventured over to Northside and had burgers and fries here. Absolutely delicious! Even better than the food were the two guys working that we interacted with (presumably the owners).

I did not find this place as good as others. I found their food to be not that tasty and a bit bland (trashed my entire tofu sandwich). Also, super greasy fries. Definitely overpriced food. Trying to understand what’s so good about it? Basically it’s flavorless and I can make everything in my own kitchen. Their merchandise however is impeccable. Nice selection and great things I have never seen before. Extremely expensive though.
