Everyone needs a third place, right? Bryant's is mine -- been going for just under a year now and followed 'em from Shockoe to Carytown. Relentlessly friendly staff, fun events (trivia on Thursday is my go-to), cool regulars and the cider's primo. Caters to a drier palate and it's not really a food place (aside from the hot dogs :), so be prepared. The bourbon barrel-aged ciders are the best ones.

Had an awful experience here today with my friend today, walked into the cidery and didn’t receive a single greeting or any kind of acknowledgement from staff but I had came for the bingo night and really wanted to attend so I continued to the bar and asked for a table in which I was told to wait, however after waiting quite awhile without any update or attention another pair of people came in and were INSTANTLY greeted and given attention by employees and were even given a flight of ciders AND the table that we had been waiting on. It was very frustrating to watch that disrespect as I had been looking forward to attending the event so we decided to leave and not support this business, and it didn’t help that we were the only people of color in the business so it was very hard to not feel like this was personal. I hope no one else receives this treatment from this business it completely ruined my day.

The place was easy to find, in a really beautiful area, seemed safe all around. The inside is definitely a refurbished home as you may surmise by the shower in the second floor bathroom. I liked the ciders, they werent overly carbonated and sour like most ciders I have tried. So no heartburn or agita for me and my wife that day. My favorite was their dryest, I dont recall the name but I bought a 4pack to go. My wife preferred the strawberry, which she also got a 4 pack. The emulators upstairs is a really nice touch as well as all the board games. Thats how you get patrons to stay and keep buying stuff, keep them entertained! WE ended up getting pizza down the street at Mary Angelas per the recommendation from the bartender. We brought it back to the Cidery, ate there, bought more cider. All in all I would return and I woudl recommend this place. I tried their 4 driest ciders and I bought the driest. None were bad, but we were traveling by bicycle so I had to choose wisely since I couldnt carry much.
Best cider around, awesome dry options
