Many (most?) of the customers smoke cigarettes, so the bar smells like my mom's old VW. Everyone at the joint seemed to know each other. Bartender was nice, attentive. Two customers had monkeys - I cannot prove it was just an incredible coincidence. Good music on the jukebox - wide variety of tunes. Ridiculously inexpensive food and drinks. A great local watering hole find.

Went there for the very first time on Saturday night because of a Karaoke competition....I have not been out in a while so i decided to go for it.....alone....and as predicted, it was a "win by audience vote" which of course means the more folks u BRING the better ur chances are of winning....which makes total sense because it's good for the business and their sales akd the $250 u wanna win. There was a $5 cover and a $10 fee for contestants, which was good for the owner because he didn't have to really come out of pocket for the prize.......The competition was amazing. Everyone did an amazing job, everyone was super friendly, and even tho i was alone, i had support from ppl i didn't even know. Maybe if they have a panel judging, I'll go back, but overall, a nice watering hole ❤️
I grew up in Bubba's with my daddy Larry "Cookie" Rosser..we had his memorial there this past Sunday place has changed but still the same ?

I’m not one to just go out of my way to talk down because I try to be optimistic and understanding. I’ve worked and drove all day, coming to visit the area for the weekend out of Charlotte and I would’ve loved to eat somewhere local rather than just an everyday chain restaurant. I sat and waited for several moments to not even get the bare minimum aside from a food lion water bottle. Never given a menu, or was followed up on.

Been here juz once & that was close to thirty - plus years ago...Was with a date or at least the woman I was running around with at that time...late at night it was packed. Musta been every country cowboy wannabe pick-up driving bubba, redneck, bad boy farm boy in the whole area...the music loud & honking .God it was great! If you wanted to pick a fight this was the place...The Bud was cold & my lady was hot...too many guys checking her out...We had to leave. It was a great place..hope it still is... recommended....
