Many (most?) of the customers smoke cigarettes, so the bar smells like my mom's old VW. Everyone at the joint seemed to know each other. Bartender was nice, attentive. Two customers had monkeys - I cannot prove it was just an incredible coincidence. Good music on the jukebox - wide variety of tunes. Ridiculously inexpensive food and drinks. A great local watering hole find.
Went there for the very first time on Saturday night because of a Karaoke competition....I have not been out in a while so i decided to go for it.....alone....and as predicted, it was a "win by audience vote" which of course means the more folks u BRING the better ur chances are of winning....which makes total sense because it's good for the business and their sales akd the $250 u wanna win. There was a $5 cover and a $10 fee for contestants, which was good for...
Been here juz once & that was close to thirty - plus years ago...Was with a date or at least the woman I was running around with at that time...late at night it was packed. Musta been every country cowboy wannabe pick-up driving bubba, redneck, bad boy farm boy in the whole area...the music loud & honking .God it was great!
