My husband and I treated my sister and her friend to dinner at Buckheads. All of us ordered the 8 oz filet mignon all of which were cooked to perfection based on our requests. We had Cesar salads to start and I selected a bottles of Albariño and a bottle of red from the Southwest of France to complement our meal. My sister was given a slice of chocolate cake (her choice) to go as a birthday gift from the restaurant. Emily provided exceptional service throughout. Buckheads has been our go to place for a special meal when we are visiting Richmond and will continue to be so. Highly recommended!

Wonderful restaurant with several dining rooms making this a less crowded and more intimate experience. There were only 4 other tables in our room so it was relatively quiet, even though the other tables were larger parties than ours. The food was OUTSTANDING and the service from Lisa was excellent. We will go there again!

What a perfect place to splurge for a birthday celebration! Have had better service, from my phone earlier in the day our favorite area, to the amazing meals we enjoyed. My favorite is the steak au' poivre, every entrée delicious. The guys loved the lobster bisque, and all the sides were amazing. We shared a warmed pecan pie. And crème brûlée for dessert. It was a lovely meal made our special evening perfect!

Most of our dishes were great except the Steak entrees. The steaks were not tender and we expected more for the price we paid. It was disappointing to pay this much and not have a quality steak.

Sam, the advanced sommelier picked the perfect wine pairing. The ribeyes were perfectly seared, seasoned, and cooked (medium rare). Our time at Buckhead's was ideal!

Had to wait weeks to get a reservation, even for a Wednesday night. Food was exceptional, steak is amazing (and should be, it's a steak house!). Our server was attentive, without being overbearing. We were not rushed, enjoyed a bottle of decent Virginia wine with our two steaks. A real gem, we will be back.
Our 14th wedding anniversary was amazing! Great table to ourselves, amazing service to include more than adequate assistance with ordering choices. Food was amazing. Steaks were perfectly cooked to order. Pleasantly surprised how amazing the vegetables and potatoes du jour was. Excellent all around, will definitely be back!

Wow...Buckheads was not what I remembered. I haven't been there in many years due to not living in Richmond. I remembered spacious seating but this time I was seated at a cramped table almost on top of the neighboring one. I remembered impeccable service but my service was horrible. There was no introduction, I had to ask for both bread service and drinks. It was almost like a busboy was filling in for the wait staff. I remembered food that was over the top special. This visit the food was good but nothing above average. It was a really disappointing visit. I left me wondering if the business had been sold or if Covid destroyed what it once was. Sadly I won't be back.
