First time I went here was in the evening with a couple friends. I honestly wasn’t impressed. The service was a pretty slow and felt unengaged.However, I gave it another try during lunch and had a great time. Norine is a ray of sunshine made human. Was a great lunch, good service and the food was tasty.Definitely worth a visit for a neighborhood friendly local bar.

Cool spot took the family in after church. Bar was full of people, a few tables were occupied. Sat right down took a while to get service but think they just were short handed seemed to be one guy doing it all he was vey pleasant but you could tell he was taking orders and bussing tables so had his plate full. Food was great wife had chicken salad club I had the BLT kids shared French toast we both had tots. Also had the wings and they were gigantic! Healthy portions for all and the chicken salad had huge delicious chunks of chicken. Will be back cool spot good food.

My buddy didn’t tip the bartender, so the bartender took his drink and kicked him out. He also didn’t charge him for it so that was interesting. Not one star, or five stars just “caveat emptor”.

i love this place so i’ll keep my rating high but I just had a very rude experience with the younger girl who was opening today. never seen her serving at night so i guess she’s a morning gal.popped over to buddys when i was pumping gas at 10:47 ish to ask about buying a t-shirt. she grumpily answered the door (which i get, opening a restaurant sucks!) and when i asked her hey would yousell me a t-shirt right now? she was so rude and replied no. you’ll have to wait until 11. and closed the door, rolled her eyes and walked away.if i was arriving at 10:20 or even 10:30 I would soooo get it… but you’re literally opening your doors in 10 mins and you can’t sell me a t-shirt…?!??! ah. that’s ok i just wish she wasn’t so rude!!!! so, i took myself over to joes inn and bought a t-shirt there.i spend about two nights a week at buddys and really hope she doesn’t serve me in the future. happy holidays tho!!!

We were out on a Monday night just looking for a karaoke place. We got there very early but spent the evening talking with the locals and our bartender. All I can say is this, Buddy’s reminds me of Cheers. It was a great place to just go hang out with friends. Enjoy good conversations, food, drinks and then when it was karaoke time, the place was so much fun! Don’t miss going there. They’re a Richmond establishment and I look forward to going again soon! Cheers!

Good local spot feel and service!! Waitstaff and bartenders move with purpose, and they don't stop! Philly cheese was good, burger was really good, tater tots are great! Oh yeah, the wings are HUGE-order them if you like your wings to be perfectly cooked with lots of meat on them!(aka pterodactyl wings)!

Used to be my regular spot but yesterday not only did my waitress mock my drink order, she then made it so maliciously awful. Ask for a different garnish, get a drink where all you can taste is the garnish because she put 4 in and the juice. Order dinner after the crowd dies down and it takes forever and then another 20 minutes on top of that for the condiment that was ordered. Even worse last night there was a loud drunk group who i guess decided to start throwing things. They were in the front by the window and i was in the back booth and yet i was hit in the shoulder. I told the waitress and shes like i cant control them. So many bars would have cut them off lff and tossed them. Not at buddys. So this is no longer my regular spot and will never be again...been going here since 2015. Ill spend 50$+ on happyhours at another establishment
