We tried Burtons tonight for my wife's birthday, and couldn't have been happier with out choice! The restaurant had a lively atmosphere - but felt really cozy and inviting.
The food was absolutely amazing. From the calamari to steak and the lobster role, everything we had was delicious.
A huge shout-out to our waiter, Robert, and Tristan, who made our dining experience fantastic!

Entering Burtons Grill & Bar in Richmond was hands down one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had in the city. From the moment we walked in, everything; from the atmosphere to the service; was top notch. Even during happy hour, we didn’t wait long for our food, which was a huge plus.
Our server, Dena, was absolutely incredible. She was quick, efficient, and made sure everything we needed was taken care of without missing a beat. Her attention to detail and no-nonsense approach allowed us to relax and truly enjoy ourselves. She played a big part in making our visit unforgettable.
Now let’s talk about the food; specifically the bread service. The shareable rustic roll paired with house-made pesto, herbed garlic butter, and olive tapenade was out of this world. Each bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It set the tone for a truly delicious meal.
Burtons in Richmond is a must-visit. Whether you’re stopping by for happy hour or a full dinner, you’re in for a treat!

If I could give it 6 stars, I would! Great service, food, and atmosphere. You will need to park on the street or find a garage, but it's so worth it!

We have had dinner here three times now and have not had a meal that disappointed us. The staff is very attentive, and friendly, ensuring any food allergies are addressed and recommends options. The food comes out hot and in a reasonable amount of time full of flavor. The restaurant is always busy so reservations are strongly recommended.

Visited on 10/21 with a party of four. The food was decent, but the bartender/server seemed to be having an off day, and the hostess came across as rude. After three visits, I won’t be returning.

First impressions always wins. We were seated immediately. We chose outside seating because 80 degrees in October you have to show out. We were greeted within minutes. Our waitress (Storm) was top tier with energy like that i should have felt some connection(CAT MOM) she was awesome. My cousin always eat here so she ordered her regular (General tso cauliflower) which were bomb. I ordered the (Bread service) appetizer & baby .... The bread , the butter , the oil, & olives pure freshness & delicious. For the entree i went with the Veggie burger which indeed is the kind i prefer (handcrafted with rice & other ingredients) and sweet potato fries which were excellent at taste. My cousin ordered the parmesan truffle fries which were fresh and full of flavor. For my drink we scope over the menu but something about the Orchard Sangria pulled me into the right direction, the cinnamon/ sugar rim combo was exquisite and rich in taste as it clashed with the sangria. Yummy I am assure I will be returning for the Bread service alone i can eat at least 3 orders it was so good!!

Burton's is a great spot for casual dining. In the heart of Careytown, it has great parking options like the street or parking garage located in the rear. It's a nice vibe with great service. Sam made sure that we had a wonderful experience and that we had NO food allergies. He also gave great menu recommendations. Great menu options for all palates and reasonable prices.
