Tried this spot on Discover Richmond food tour and just fell in love with the chicken! So juicy and the seasonings are so different- no sauce needed (but the Mumbo sauce is bomb). The French toast was so good you literally have to stop between each bite and they make the syrup in house. The staff were so friendly too!
Ordered chicken tenders with spicy ranch and honey mustard with slaw. I opted for the slaw to be healthier as the other option is fries. Wrong choice, the slaw has absolutely no flavor. The chicken tenders themselves were pretty good, very nicely seasoned albeit a little salty. For the sauces, the honey mustard was amazing. It was sweet, almost like honey butter. The ranch was not spicy at all, they might’ve given me the wrong ranch though. My boyfriend liked his chicken sandwich...
The fries and the chicken tenders were extremely hard. It took a long time for the food to be ready and nobody was waiting in front of us. The server didn't give us the sauces we asked for and then we went back to get them and they said they were out. It was a major disappointment compared to what we'd had at grace street.
