We ordered pernil, yellow rice, red beans, potato salad and plantain. Everything was really good but needed a little more seasoning. I added salt and pepper sauce, then we were good to go. The pernil was very soft and moist and we even got the crunchy skin. I eat out everyday because it’s only me in my house so to have a plate of homemade food that wasn’t from a restaurant chain was satisfying. I will definitely return. Great service and reasonable prices.

I honestly don’t understand why this place has so many high ratings I went there with my friend and I she recommended me to try the food from there at first I thought that the food look really good from what I seen online but let me tell you that this place is really deceiving from the get go this place is really overpriced for what you get the food is very dry and bland little to no flavor I ordered a lemonade which I thought was naturally made which I would have understood the pricing and I come to find out that it was fountain lemonade which I did not expect because of the pricing very overpriced also beware there are some plates that are on the menu that look like they have plantains with the meal since you see it on the picture which is far from the truth it’s false advertisement because they charge $5 for a small portion of plantain. I really don’t get the hype for this place I hesitated on giving another chance but failed once again to surprised me don’t even bother wasting your money here you could really get way more at another place for the money you spent here.

Wow, just stopped by and got the stewed oxtail to go. It was absolutely delicious. It came with yellow rice and beans. The sauce and oxtail flavor was complex and perfect. Not too rich. I will definitely be back.
