California Pizza Kitchen at Short Pump

The pizza and salads here aren’t bad. I had cedar planked salmon and it was suuuuper overcooked, so badly it was black and inedible (and I’m not a picky eater.) Overall we paid $155 for 4 entrees and 2 drinks — I guess everything is more expensive these days but the food was quick-service quality at sit down prices and we probably won’t be back for awhile. Service was friendly, but cleanliness wasn’t great, there was spilled food and a bit of trash on the floor around us. Several gnats flying around the food as well.

We were not pleased with the quality of our food. I ordered salmon which was $26 and it was not great. There was no seasoning or sauce, it was just plain salmon and was not very good quality. My wife and son shared pizza which was decent, but also not great. We likely won’t come back.

We liked all the items here especially their pizza and pasta.

This place really makes everything great 👍 👌. You can not go wrong withe pizza's. Plamy was our waitress , she was phenomenal. Ashley, the manager, as always, is very attentive.

I ordered a plain cheese pizza via their app for my 2 teenage daughters to pick up and share. What they brought back to our hotel room was an 11” personal pizza for $18.69, which was mediocre quality. I called the restaurant to ask if this was a mistake; it was not. The only description on the app is that the pizzas are 6 slices; does not state the size of the pizza and that they are personal pies. Never again, such a rip off and more importantly, truly deceptive - I would have ordered elsewhere if I knew the truth ahead of time.

I ordered cauliflower pizza crust with the Hawaiian pizza. The crust was underdone and tasted like cardboard. This was NOT a cauliflower crust! It was a so-called “gluten-free” crust, probably pre-frozen and then “cooked” by someone who does not understand how gluten-feee crusts need to be baked. I paid extra for a cauliflower crust so that this wouldn’t happen. This was a bait and switch order, and I will never order pizza from California Pizza Kitchen again!

The food is amazing it's a little bit pricey.Its worth trying out if you're in town shopping.

The service is pleasant! In fact, when I picked up a salad this week the server made sure I received my points! I'm still searching for items on the menu that work with my sensitive belly.

Unwelcoming service with the rudest waiter I think i’ve ever had. We were not acknowledged for the first 10 minutes we were seated, then he took his sweet time to bring the food. He then came back after letting us eat to take my girlfriend’s plates while they were both still eating. Mine he left for another 20 minutes while pretending we didn’t exist. Thanks durron!

Two times i ordered take out pizzas and i asked for a side of marinara, the take out person gave me salsa instead of marinara two separate occasions. Unreal

The food was ok. I ordered a pasta and chicken dish and was brought an entirely different dish. In the waitresses defense, there were 20 or so of us. But I didn't feel the spinach dip and chicken pasta dish was worth $40.00 I have had better say O'Charleys for less. But overall, the food was ok.

I can’t judge the food because we waired at a cold table under the vent for over 10 minutes with nobody coming to our table. Only when we got up to leave did the bartender call out he would be with is in a few minutes. The place was about 20% occupancy. The waitress and bartender seemed to be having a good time together though. Won’t give it a second chance .
