Hadn't been in a while but it was a birthday lunch. I had requested a window seat. I asked if I could switch one of the chairs as I have a tricky back. I showed her a rounded chair that was at another table, she said “of course” and she switched it right away. She was fantastic to do that. Lunch was delicious & the shared dessert was just perfect. I'll go again soon!!
We ordered 3 wines by the glass to start and at $16 to $21 each I expected them to use the red wine glasses that were 6 feet away on the shelf, but ok. We then decided on a bottle of 2013 Bordeaux. I did stop her from pouring into the glass the had (a very nice Sancerre) been used already for white wine. Salads were good.
The service was outstanding. Ash was attentive and helpful. Food was great and we loved our meals.
Very nice setting and food was good. Visiting makes our recent Paris trip seem not that far away. Thanks
Perhaps being a Tuesday night is not the best choice for dining. Had 8:00 p.m. reservations, and only one additional couple arrived after us. The restaurant almost emptied within 30 minutes from our seating.
Overall this was a good experience; however, there is room for improvement. It was super warm/humid in the restaurant. Also, servers seemed confused about who was actually serving our table. The chocolate croissant had the tiniest amount of chocolate I have ever seen in a chocolate croissant; charge more and add more chocolate please. The iced tea glasses hold about 3 sips of tea so you constantly need a refill, which the servers cannot keep up with. The salad was good, but needed salt and pepper and there was none to be found and it was hard to flag down a server. The fries were overcooked. There seemed to be managers and such walking around in a circle, but no one asked us how were doing or if there any issues which we could have shared. Service just seemed lackluster for a restaurant of this caliber.
Two weeks ago, I had lunch at Can Can and was disappointed by how I was treated at the host stand. I was standing directly at the stand while my white male colleague stood several feet away. Two employees walked by without acknowledging me, and when a third approached, she bypassed me completely and greeted him instead. When I spoke up, she never made eye contact and just asked, “Just two today?” On the way out, the same hostess ignored me again but smiled and thanked my colleague for coming. The food was great, but hospitality is about more than that. As a younger Black man, the message was clear — and my colleague was deeply bothered by it, too. I emailed management multiple times; the PR manager said the GM would respond, but no one ever did.
We love this restaurant. Exceptional food quality. We enjoyed an espresso martini and rye Manhattan. Fried oysters appetizers best I have had all year. Main course Quiche! The best part of the evening was the service!! Thank you Okalani!!!
Loved our experience here! The raw oysters were services with a sweet little sauce and vingear, and the bread was as always delicious. I got the salmon ceasar salad and it was cooked perfectly. Waitress was 10/10 friendly, attentive, and sweet.
My first time! The food was delicious! I had the quiche and the bread was so good.Emily was so sweet and accommodating. Also gave us directions as we go sight seeing! Will definitely be back. ☺️

Our waitress didn't come over until we had been sitting there for 20 mins. The Caesar salads were the worst Caesar salads I've ever had. The chicken was rubbery. The drinks were good. Very sad this is my favorite restaurant.
Visiting from Austin, restaurant was recommended by sister in Richmond. Beautiful spot, amazing service (Adrian!) and delicious food. If you want terrific service, request Adrian.
Conner was great! Lovely Sevice and care. Food was good. Quantity of portions was quite different. Do not skip dessert! Marjoraine was amazing
Had a very good friend from Florida visit, took him to brunch. The service was good. Our waiter was very polite but got a few things wrong. The food was not spectacular. My French toast was ok but thinly sliced brioche was not at all pleasing. The eggs my friend ordered were good but they didn't have a side of sausage he wanted. The substitute salami fried wasn't good at all
Server was very attentive. Appetizers were tasty. Mains were good but not outstanding. Good time was had for family outing.
