We got a to go order from here and were not disappointed. I usually don't like chicken on the bone, but the flavoring is so good from Canasta's. The side salad was fresh, and the fried plaintains were good. Overall, it was a great meal. My husband enjoyed the skirt steak and rice with fried plaintains and yucca.

Food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the roasted chicken, cilantro rice, and pinto beans. The food was so darn good that I immediately came back the next day and ordered the Salmon (this time) which they cooked right in front of me while I waited. I repeated my order, ordering the cilantro rice with black beans this time. And boy, they did not disappoint. Good flavor and large portion sizes is what you get. If you haven't tried their food yet, give them a try. I promise...

Amazing food! The chicken is moist and flavorful, fried yucca is just like mom makes it at home, pico and the pepper/onion mix is delicious, and mom loved the shrimp! If eating in, have patience as it isn't fast food, but it is well worth the wait!
