Walked in and my 2 daughters needed to use the restroom while we were waiting to be seated. One out of the six employees that were sitting and eating asked with an attitude if my daughters were meeting people in the back. I replied they needed to use the restroom while we were waiting to be seated if that was OK. Later I understood there were a lot of kids using their restroom from a nearby ice cream store, but it also kind of sets the mood.Pizza is above average, pasta below average, Pepsi was flat, service very good. Nothing stood out that would justify a return when there are so many other options.

I went to Candela's for the first time a few days ago and I was pleasantly surprised. The front of the resturant is nothing special but inside was a nice homey atmosphere that was very clean and welcoming. I'm a stickler for clean resturants and everything here was spotless. The food is the real reason for this review. AWESOME FOOD! The Italian bread on the sandwich was so fresh and tasty. I haven't had good Italian bread like that since I lived in NYC years ago. All the ingredients were FRESH unlike these sub places. It tasted so good I was full but kept trying to finish it. The 8" Italian sub was what I ordered and it was delicious. I will definitely be back.

When I walked in approximately 10 employees were setting eating lunch. Pizzas and pasta dishes all around. It’s gotta be good if the employees have lunch there. Was seated as soon as we came through the door by a nice lady that wasn’t eating lunch. The cook came to the window and started conversing in Italian. I had the lasagna and a salad with bread my wife had manicotti with the same sides. I also had a side of jalapeños for my lasagna. Mine was delicious, lots of meat and tomato sauce. The salad was crispy but plain. The honey mustard dressing was good but my wife had the ranch and it was a bit on the bland side. My wife didn’t love her manicotti. She said it had a sour taste to the sauce. She added sugar and made it better. I tried a bite and it did have a sour bite to it but to my taste was ok. Just wouldn’t order it knowing that. All and all it was a good meal but the sauce on the manicotti kind of spoiled the experience. It will not stop us from coming back though.

Went for the first time last night and took several minutes to be seated, no problem at all, we were told they were short staffed for the night. Orders placed, 12" pizza, cheesesteak, and two sodas. Drinks were sat down and they were wrong, waitress didn't stay around long enough to ask to fix it. Pizza came out and I thought it looked a little big, turns out I received a much larger size. Half of our order ended up being wrong and we were unable to get someone to help us do to begin short staffed. The food overall was delicious and if we're back in the area we'd consider trying again.
