First time trying waffles here and the waffles are amazing!!!!❤😋

So glad we found this place! They have so many interesting waffle variations - I’ve tried breakfast, lunch, and dessert varieties and they’ve all been a hit! The secret S’mores waffle was a cool find, be sure to ask about it!

Food is great but expensive compared to serving size. Staff is very friendly and service is fast. Would highly recommend.

A must stop place when in town

Reading the reviews and by word of mouth, a couple of friends and I decided to eat at Capitol Waffle Shop on Midlothian Turnpike. To start, the menu was very overwhelming. When my food arrived, the presentation was very sloppy and could have been better. When my food arrived, the plate looked dirty. The area above the food preparation station was very dusty and unsanitary. The hallway to the bathroom was more of a storage holding area. The shirts on the wall had dust on them and should be taken down.

Such a cute idea. I love waffles but these were only just ok. They had a lot of baking powder flavor. It was also very pricey to get the toppings individually. I did not like the coffee.

Nice little spot but dining in experience needs some work. Upon entering, the cashier asked if we were dining in and directed us to a table. Minutes trolled by while we watched other parties arrive and receive their food before we even had our orders taken. We finally figured out on our own that you need to place your order at the cashier, be seated and then someone will bring your order out--no wait staff, which is cool but someone should have definitely told us. When I pointed this out to the cashier she muttered something about not seeing us come in when she was the very one who gave us the menus and directed us to a seat. Strange. And then afterwards no one comes with the bill. I guess you just head to the register and they look for your order and ring you up, which is what we did. Once ordered food came out quick and was pretty tasty. Would go again now that I know what to do.

I had an original waffle and scrambled bowl with chorizo. The food was good. I am not overly impressed. It was a busy Saturday morning. I waited a while for my food. The staff was busy, attentive and pleasant to interact with.

We brought a party of about 15 people to this restaurant on a Saturday morning. The employees here were very friendly throughout our time being here. They took our orders with a smile on and served us our food as it was ready so we all got fresh, hot Waffles. Everyone's food was delicious and some even went back for 2nds! I would 100% go back to this restaurant! Thank you to the employees for being so friendly and welcoming this really made the experience even better!

I absolutely love this place. My office is right next to it so I eat here frequently and everytime is a 10/10! Soooo delicious and everything is always perfect. I would eat here every single day
