I'm so happy bakeries are still around in 2024. I stop in here frequently for a sweet treat, and this time left with 4 cupcakes for my valentine. They even have birthday candles and cute napkins and party decor if you're in a pinch. I love trying their seasonal flavors - the cookie butter cupcake rocked my world. The carrot cake one is my boyfriends favorite and hard to beat.

I am always if the mindset that when I walk into a bakery the goods must be fresh. I am giving 4 stars because my cupcake felt like it came out a fridge the night before. It was good. I wanted it to be great. ☹️

We stopped in for the vegan biscoff brownie bar and it was pretty tasty. Personally I have a sweet tooth, but one that is satisfied after a few bites. So this one piece lasted me a couple days. Counter service was quick and delivered by a pleasant person. The inside is bright and cheery with limited seating.

If I had a guess, I'd say they have optimized for appearance over taste. Everything in the display case looked impeccable and stunning. But both the apple cider cupcake and the brownie bar we bought were bone dry, and there were burnt flavors in the brownie bar. We ended up tossing them. Also, even though brownies were advertised as $4, I was charged $6.50 and didn't notice until later. Too many negatives to consider returning, I think.
My partner and I used Carytown Cupcakes for cartering our wedding. The employees were extremely helpful in arranging a tasting for us to start, and remained extremely receptive of our requests all the way through to the big day. The cupcakes were a hit with the guests, and our personal wedding cake was delicious. We would recommend considering CC for more than just a quick, sweet treat based on our positive experience!

If you're going to charge 60 cents for a take-out box, you need to tell customers the cost beforehand. The employee asked me "Would you like a box?" I said sure, but only learned about the charge afterwards (via my emailed receipt). Had I been told about the cost, I would not have accepted the box. As for the baked goods, the carrot cupcake was waxy and bland, while the ginger cookie was tasty and snappy.

SO SO DRY!We were so excited to stop by. Me and my boyfriend are big sweet tooth people and love dipping into little bake shops and getting loads of stuff. We stumbled upon this place after eating at the Galaxy Diner and were intrigued. They had all these beautiful Halloween and fall cupcakes and the flavors sounded amazing but the cupcakes weren’t that good sadly. None of the flavors stated on the tabs were coming through in our bites. The cream cheese frosting on our carrot cake cupcake tasted sour and there was zero flavor.Everything was also so dry. Our favorite was the Halloween funfetti as it was moist but it just tasted like a box mix and the buttercream was weirdly very salty. Like straight salted butter. We ended up just taking a bit of all of them and throwing them away, it sucks because they are also quite pricey for the experience. Our service was great though and the vibes are the cutest but wish I had liked them more
