I've lived in Texas. I spend A LOT of time in Mexico. THIS is the real, freakin deal. There is nothing that is not original, handmade and bloody awesome. If my wife would let me? I'd eat here every day. No. Seriously, i would. This is a family business, everything is hand made... by folks who know what the heck they're doing. I could go on and on. One word? Awesome. ? you don't LOVE it?? Stick with your Tex-Mex TV dinners.
immediately felt welcomed when we walked in the door. felt like a home more than a restaurant. wasn’t too busy and the food was incredible! our waiter brought us a ton of different home made salsas upon noticing we were putting hot sauce on our chips. ordered the tlayuda and waiter explained how to eat it. such a warm and welcoming oaxacan experience!
Perfection. Casa Oaxaca is a hidden gem near Regency. Our go to favorite is the steak burrito. Tonight we tried the steak Gordita. It was amazing. I don’t know how they do it. They have always been consistently perfect. We also ordered the guacamole dip, it was incredible. So fresh. We’ve been ordering Uber eats from them for a long time now. It’s always been amazing.
