Great service and good portions! Unlike other locations in RVA, they actually fill it to the top, so you get your money's worth. Nice and clean, plus plenty of outdoor seating.

Pretty disappointed this location doesn’t consider ems as first responders. Only fire and police. Portions were smaller at this location than others. $20 for majority rice and veggie is pretty ridiculous

Good food and good people. This location is always a little dirty though- sticky floors and tables, infrequent table cleaning, broken water dispenser.

First time trying CAVA and I’m officially obsessed! I built my own bowl and everything from the grains to the toppings was fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. The pita chips? Worth every single penny. Crunchy, light, and dangerously addictive. I grabbed the lemonade and mixed in some blueberry lavender… chef’s kiss 💋 Refreshing and different in the best way.
I even tried the sweet pita chips. They were good, but personally I prefer them without the honey dip.
I’ve been a Mezeh girly for years, but after this visit… I might be switching teams 👀. Glad I finally gave CAVA a shot. They understood the assignment! 🙌🏽

Terrible experience at this location. Waited 15 mins in line got to the front they said it was a wait for lamb meatballs. They did not specific how long. I’m thinking 5 mins. 20 people proceed to go past me while I’m standing there waiting for the meatballs. After 10 mins I ask how long is the wait. The guy looks at me confused as if I haven’t been standing in front of him the whole time…he goes to check in the back and proceeds to tell me 15 minutes for the lamb meatballs….I’m not waiting 45 minutes for 4-5 pieces of lamb. I then try to explain that they could of specify how long the wait was going to be so as a paying customer I can decide if I had time to wait or if I wanted to change my protein option. He proceeds to get an attitude and speak with me in a negative tone in front of a line of customers. When I then said I do not want the meal anymore he waved me off….very disappointing as I frequent this CAVA often as it’s in an area I live near. I will have to go to the west end to another location at this point or just stop eating at CAVA all together cause that was a terrible experience and now I’m still hungry.

Honestly, if you’re going to do a pick up order with Cava in the Richmond area, just go to the VCU or Short Pump location. They don’t follow written instructions and skim out on portions when it comes to the base of your bowl. If you paid for extra toppings— they don’t care to honor that. If you want portions in proportion to what you’re paying— take the drive into the city and go to the VCU location.
