Very, very good Mexican style, GOOD fast food. 1/2 Chicken w/rice n beans is a must have if looking for perfectly seasoned, perfectly charred, juicy chicken. The rice n beans were also very good. Awesomeness, pure and simple. It’s just then real deal, real food real people real Journey really flavor. It so incredibly delicious. I drive there from Fredericksburg VA, to experience the real -and it’s worth it.
Stopped here on my road trip. Real food, real people. Came to find out that the owner's family is from my neck of the woods in Chesapeake. Had the fried trout with collars and rice. Can't wait to try the pork chops with cabbage and mac & cheese. They serve alcohol also. Support this real soul food place, you will be happy you did.
