This place reminded me of back home in Europe where you are not rushed and hovered over but you can actually sit and converse and eat and drink in peace.I always order pizza (here Paesano Pizza) when I first visit an Italian restaurant and it was authentic and perfect!My friend ordered Spaghetti Mediterraneo and was also impressed.I will definitely come here again and introduce this place to people who have not been here yet.Our waiter was kind and fun. And the atmosphere was cozy.The only thing I wish for is bottled carbonated water .

My fiance and I dined here this evening and we felt unwelcome from the start. First upon arriving for our reservation, we waited at the front for several minutes while multiple staff members passed us by and nobody would say a word to us. Once we were finally seated, our server finally came to our table and seemed to be in a poor mood. When I said that I was torn between two entree choices and asked for her opinion, she slowly read the descriptions listed on the menu for the two entrees to me as if I was a toddler and then rolled her eyes. A few minutes later after ordering, I was startled as she tossed a bread basket onto our table from behind me. My water was gone before our food was brought by another individual on the waitstaff and was never refilled. While eating, we observed our server often visiting her other tables, laughing and holding conversation with them, but never coming close to us. We sat around for a while after we finished eating, waiting for a to go container, and eventually had to call over the hostess to request one. Our server finally came back over to our table 40 minutes after our food had arrived and asked “Are you just waiting on the check?” without even coming to a stop or looking at us. Although my fiance and I were hoping for a nice date night, our evening was ruined by poor service and being treated with disrespect.

We came for Valentine’s Day. The service was quite good—comfortably friendly and attentive, to the contrary of what some other reviewers have experienced. The wine pours and entree portion sizes were also very generous.On the other hand, the food was underwhelming. The meatballs were very underseasoned, and the spaghetti and meatballs dish as a whole was just not very appetizing. My spouse’s chicken parm was also not well seasoned. The garlic cheese bread and salads were good, but weren’t anything particularly special.

My sister and brother in-law came in from Wilmington, NC and we went with my mother to one of her neighborhood favorite restaurants, Chianti’s in Gayton Crossings. Now, it’s not fine dining but it has good food and reminds me of the neighborhood restaurant in every town in America. It’s not a chain and has been run by the same family for over 25 years. Ordered pizza two times, and the both times the bottom was burnt. Same thing happened to someone else I know, and also seeing some reviews here say the same thing. That is not a coincidence and looks like a problem that needs fixing.They either need to clean the oven more often or invest in a cooking timer. I wanted to give this place a chance, which is why I went back a second time after the first pizza was burnt but not sure I will be back after seeing other people say the same thing.
