Found this place while aimlessly wandering around today. The food, the staff, atmosphere are all absolutely phenomenal and I will definitely make the hour and a half drive back soon for more!!

cook came out and confronted us about not leaving a tip for TAKEOUT, when no service was provided. overly salty sandwich, smells like gas inside, and overpriced. Just go to jersey mikes if you want a sandwich

Just your anything-but-average, underground deli! Great quality sandwiches in a cool basement spot! Good drink selection if you are into that as well. Ya just gotta see and taste for yourself to truly appreciate everything they've got going on there!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Placed an order for sandwiches and waited over one hour while it wasn’t even busy and come to find out the server never rang our food in so ended up leaving. Server didn’t seem to care about our experience and also we watched several other tables walk out for having no service. Do not recommend

I got the Portobello mushroom sandwich and the panini, both were so good! Great portions, the decor is super cool, and the staff seemed very welcoming and at home. Definitely recommend!

After a long time hearing about the sandwiches, finally got a chance to try Chiocca's the other day. It's a cozy spot with a feel similar to other long standing Richmond staples like Joe's Inn or Bamboo Cafe. I ordered a Lucca's sandwich and my partner got a Reuben. Good sandwiches, loaded down with meat. Server Quin did a great job providing prompt and friendly service. I'll definitely be coming back

Hole in the wall/basement style place with odd ball art and the best damn sandwiches we’ve had in forever!! Waitress was sweet and attentive but also super chill. Great draft & can beer selection too. Love that they serve bread & butter pickle chips AND a dill slice with each sandwich. Can’t wait to go back!
