Was here around 1 pm in the afternoon. 2 other tables were in there. Me and my son waited almost 40 minutes for 2 subpar sandwiches. Bread was burnt sandwiches were not even warm. 30% suggested tip is crazy. I had to get up to get my bill. As we was leaving the only other table got their sandwiches ande an my son actually saw steam coming off their sandwiches must be nice.

WOW!! This place absolutely nailed it! I obsess over hidden gems like Chiocca's that offers great food and service for a steal.
My husband and I got a quick bite before heading to the museum. We split an Italian sub, added prosciutto and upgraded to both have our own side of chips and a pickle for only an extra $2. That plus $4 bottled beer is my language.
The sandwich was super fresh, tasty and truly hit the spot. Atmosphere is very cozy yet fun for a small basement hideout, and our waiter was great all around. Absolutely no complaints and can't wait to come back! Now I'm hungry lol

Love the sandwich’s. Great vibes. Good service. Excellent The Sailor- pastrami & knockwurst, Swiss & spicy mustard. The BLT type sandwich with crispy prosciutto is amazing. Generous, even after taking out some of the meat so I could take a bite!! lol. Only thing that could improve this dive bar is good chips. Route 11 or Ms . Vickie’s would be 200% better.

I get that people love this dive bar, but it is so dirty and smells like sewer. the first time I waited and hour for my food and left without getting it. the second time i waited 20 mins and it was fine, nothing fantastic. never going back, it smells too bad.

I have dined here years ago and had a wonderful experience however, this one is a little mixed unfortunately . We arrived on Friday afternoon. I’ll start with the positive, the subs were good and that was it. The waitress that serviced us was very short and snippy with us unfortunately. She was rude to my friend and very short when I asked her to refill a soda. The 1st soda didn’t have syrup. She told my friend who was tall, very rudely to him to put his feet inside the booth. He is 6’5” and did not have his leg out. Just his knee. It was the most absurd request /comment we have ever heard at a restaurant. This was not a good look or experience at all, we were happy to leave. Both of us were very nice and respectful to her. I even left a tip becuase it’s the right thing to do. However We will not go back there again. Maybe in time if servers are friendlier.

I can’t even describe how delicious their sandwiches were! I really enjoyed it. The place has a fun, old-fashioned vibe,it might look a bit crowded and messy at first, but it’s actually very clean, and the staff are super friendly.
