Came here for a bday in the event space. Service was LESS than subpar. Waitress took drink orders, forgot to put them in, waited over an hr for it, was told it would be free and they still tried to charge for it later. Checked us out after every small order whether each drink or food vs waiting for us to be done ordering. Didn’t refill the water either. However the food was amazing !! The seafood dip and the wings were so good and decent portions and came out at a good time.

I went with friends to watch the Super Bowl, and I wasn’t a fan of the overall experience, but I tried to make the best of it.
1. I wasn’t aware that there was smoking indoors, and the room smelled of smoke, as did my hair and clothing.
2. I ordered wings with garlic parm and received plain wings. By the time the waitress returned, it would have taken too long to correct the issue.
3. The setup for the Super Bowl in the event room wasn’t ideal. People were allowed to walk in and stand in front of the tables, blocking the view from the main screen. While there were two side TVs, there was a clear delay, and the TVs weren’t synced to the audio.
4. We were rushed to pay for our meal, which is how I ended up “getting got”. The waitress said we had to close out our tab per management, but were welcome to order more after we closed our initial tab. We were caught off guard but complied. There wasn’t a full breakdown of the check, just the total amount. Unfortunately for me, there was never any mention to me or my friends that gratuity was included, and as a result, I ended up tipping a total of $14 on what should have been a $28 tab.
The part that bothers me the most is that I spoke to the waitress about the tip. The suggested amount on the screen was anywhere between 1-5%. I asked her why the amount was so low, as suggesting a tip of 10-20% is standard. She just shook her head and said something along the lines of, “ I know, it’s crazy.” That would have been the perfect opportunity to be forthcoming about the tip being already factored into my total.
5. I do not intend to return to Cities or recommend this establishment to anyone I know. All of the factors—poor game viewing setup, excessive smoke, rickety tables, and the scamming of their tip setup—have sullied my interest in ever returning.

I'll preface this by saying please, please pay attention to your tabs at this place! My friends and I love hanging out here for the food, drinks and hookah. We decided to stop after brunch to celebrate my best friend's birthday. Of course no birthday celebration is complete without shots, so we ordered a round of Don Julio. When the server came over with our tabs, we immediately noticed a $55 charge, yes $55 ($42 plus a service fee) per shot on all of our tabs! It is unacceptable for a splash of alcohol to be that expensive. We later found out that my friend's husband went to the bar for his shot and only paid $26. After refusing to pay such a high price for shots and informing our server about the price of shots at the bar, we eventually ended up paying $26. Cities, you need to do better because I am sure there were plenty of patrons who were not paying attention to their tabs. Unfortunately, my friends and I do not plan to return because of this experience.

We ordered a few appetizers from here to check it out, and overall it was tasty. The crab cakes were made with real crab and the remoulade was delicious, as were the buffalo chicken egg rolls. The marina for the cheese sticks was watery and a little bland, and the ginger honey sauce for the salmon bites were a bit heavy on the ginger, but these are minor gripes. The food was very tasty and we'd definitely order from here again.

Not only did simple Brunch food take an hour to come to the table, but also the quality itself was bottom of the barel. Scrambled Eggs were dry, the shredded cheese had an off taste, the Fried Chicken breading slipped right off the slimy chicken, the Steak was rubbery, the French Toast was almost flavorless, the Pork Sausage had an off taste, and we had to ask for medal utensils cuz they only brought us Plastic ones. We were the only table in the resturuant and we still waited an hour for food. Then food in question wasn't brought out at the same time and plates had to be sent back because the orders were incorrect. In addition, managment would not provide any compenssation for our poor experince.
Came in Saturday (9/21/24) evening. Jamika C. did a great job serving and bartending. Was attentive and checked on customers consistently.

The food was great along with the choices from the Lamb, Chicken Skewers and the Crab Cakes along with the Asparagus. When I am back in the Richmond, Virginia area again, I will stop by here because of the atmosphere! Nice ??!
