I have been visiting City Dogs for 7-8 years. The food has been consistently good. The dogs have a great snap. The toppings are the centerpiece of the dogs. They added new dogs recently and they are delicious. You can take a hot dog trip around the world at City Dogs. Make sure you get some Tots as a side.

Place is awesome, good affordable food and beer specials. Best place in the city to go sit down and watch the games. Joe was super cool and frequently checked on us. We had the Chicago dog, Hanoi dog and Fan dog and they were all fire. We will be back!

This is more than a restaurant...it's a bar for locals and carries that genuine atmosphere. I dropped my dogs off after our walk so I could try it out before my wife got back in town and lived it. Ordered Cinci and Coney Island hot dogs...both spectacular. Great servive, vibe, all of it. Cute patio you can get to after you go inside. I'll be back.

Visited Richmond from up north and this was on my place of must go to… however, there were no words for how insanely bad this hot dog was. Chili out of a can is better than theirs, the hot dog was boiled with no flavor, and had barely any onions on it. I have had hot dogs in every state in the northeast and down the coast including NC and GA and this was by far the worst hot dog I have ever had! I don’t understand all the good reviews. Definitely pass on this one if you want a good dog. :(
The parking is absolutely insane , so we didnt get to stop in but maybe next time .

Interesting selection of hot dogs for 3.99 ea, but I could not find one plain enough for this picky eater, so I ordered a grilled cheese. Hot dogs don’t automatically come with a side but everything else does. I got fries and there were plenty to share with my companion who ordered a hot dog. Standard sports bar atmosphere with lots of TVs.

We had a great time at City Dogs! This is an unassuming bar/restaurant that offers a great selection of hot dogs, sandwiches, appetizers, and side dishes. We came for the hot dogs (and soy dogs) today, and enjoyed the Tennessee slaw dog, Chicago dog, and soy dog version of The Fan dog. All were tasty and the food came out fast. Boneless wings were very crispy and had the right amount of sauce. Definitely will be going back when we’re in a hot dog mood!
