Premise is unique, liked music. Burgers have interesting recipe and name ideas, but often dripping with grease in every bite and sloppily thrown together. Especially if you get to go.

Food isn’t worth supporting an owner or staff that seems to relish in being another contributor to the spread of hatred instead of acceptance and unity. Staff and owner are nice and attentive to some, prejudice and hateful attitudes to others.

Ignorance is pretty strong in this place. Been a few times and staff seems to enjoy picking a customer here and there to ostracize, condescend to, or straight up insult and laugh at? It’s like they think they’re too cool and customers are below them. After hearing how they talked to a pretty nice customer infront of me, I was like wow, yea I’m done bro. Whether it’s me or others you are nasty to, it’s uncomfortable, unpleasant, and just weird tbh. Makes me feel weird to even support you. So I won’t be anymore, lots of places serve smash burgers, you guys are not special enough to act like that frfr, check the egos. They’re embarrassing

I went because I had seen a video about a burger contest winner, the place was small (although that's not the problem) and the atmosphere of the place seemed like a typical place with no unique personality, full of stereotypes. But now the important thing, the food. I ordered large fries with cheese and they were delicious. I liked the combination of different styles of onions. I ordered the Cobra burger and I was disappointed. The flavor was very average, but the bun was COLD, not toasted. They took it out of the bag and put it there, and a bun is just as important as the filling... It's not a bad place, but two people spent $65, which we had to pick up and clean the table ourselves and hardly any drinks...

Love this business and try to stop by whenever I can. My usual route is eat here and then get wine at second bottle across the road. A dive bar with great burgers and staff, what's not to like?

I was a Lil suspicious at first because I don't eat meat (I know who goes to a burger joint when they don't eat meat?) I'm that guy. I was so very pleasantly surprised. The food was so good. The salt and vinegar fries were stellar and I actually like the semi self service set up. 10/10 will go again

Cobra burger knocks it out of the park every time. I’ve tried multiple menu items and don’t have a favorite because they’re all outstanding.

I’ve been a fan of their’s since their butcher shop and pop up burger shop days - they really care about the quality of their ingredients and it shows.

If you’re looking for a casual dinner that will make you want to come right back the next day, give Cobra Burger a try…you won’t be disappointed.

The service was OK. The food is mediocre at best. I spent $27 for double cobra burger and some vinegar soggy fries outrageous. I thought the $27 would’ve made it an amazing experience. I’ll never be back. Nevertheless, the bathroom was clean, but atmosphere is gloomy, like vampires live in the back

Tried this place because of the top 100 list and had high expectations but was sadly disappointed. Food wait times were long, up to 40 minutes, the burger wasn’t even warm when it came out. Also, I ordered a dirty shirley, which on the menu has vodka, but was made with tequila and was told that’s just how they do it here. Our fries were apparently sent to the wrong table and we weren’t told about it until we asked several minutes later and they realized the mistake. Overall poor experience.

Fantastic food and cool environment. The owner is a great guy. I recommend this place to all my friends. It's a good place to bring people when you have visitors from out of town. Cobra Burger is another great place that is uniquely Richmond. The staff is always awesome even when dealing with over-priveledged ding dongs that wander into the establishment. Long live Cobra Burger! People leaving bad reviews just don't get it. I love this place for standing up for their beliefs.
