Cold Stone Creamery

My experience was unpleasant and unacceptable. I entered Coldstone with my 4 and 2.5 year old sons. As we got in line, an employee shouted at us that they were going on break after serving the customers whom were already in line. There was no “come back in 10 minutes or so,” just a “we’re going on break.” We were forced to leave the store at 4:45 pm on a hot sunny day. It is incomprehensible to turn away children and paying customers to go on a break. Especially in this economy. As I had promised my children ice cream, we sought out another shop at the mall. We went to Kilwins for the first time. Their ice cream was much better and their employees were very friendly. Thank you for helping us discover a better ice cream shop after years of frequenting Coldstone. We will not return to a Coldstone.

I bought two ice cream cones for $12 and the ice cream was awful. My grandson and I thru it away. This is the first time I've had a bad experience at this location. I hope they do better.

My kid loved it and to me it was a renewed experience which I enjoyed thoroughly!

Don’t ask for a milkshake 1 hour before closing, they will come up with a reason not to serve one. Also, some of the staff are very rude.

MELTED ice cream. All the ice cream bins in the front of the store were melted today. I asked why but the girl working there just rolled her eyes at me. She had to dig two scoops down to get somewhat solid ice cream. My cup was completely liquid by the time I paid and walked out the store.

Warning, they close 30mins prior to the time posted on the door. I went in before closing and asked for a simple chocolate shake, and they said they don't have chocolate because they had just packed it up. They should not be putting ice cream up when they are still open....there is no point in being open to the public if they're not serving it.

If you’re open until 730 then you need to stay open until til 730. The workers locked the door in our face and ran away at 710.

Very rude staff. Went in to pick up a birthday cake. Asked the female staff member “how are you today”….no response. Asked where the cakes were located and she just pointed. You need to overhaul the staff here. This is the second time I’ve been in and experienced zero customer service.

The young adults working here lack basic customer service skills. They don't greet you, they just stare at you. If they are having a conversation amongst themselves, the customers are on hold until they finish talking. The other day a young lady had a complete attitude because my husband said he didn't want the brownie but wanted to add heath. She threw the candy across the cold press in front of another worker. I called to complain but the owner didn't seem to care. I will not be returning. We'll drive 10 minutes to another location.

This is second time I visited the store in Short pump mall and it’s open hour time but the store is closed.

Monday night 907pm, 3 different families started walking up to the door and they literally ran and locked the door and turned off the open sign, they don't close until 930pm. Found another ice cream place that happily served us.
