Ice cream's good, but not spectacular, but then it doesn't really need to be. You're paying for the experience and for the mix-ins on the table, which is hard to achieve at home, and for that it's an okay place. I always end up ordering more than I should, but it is very enjoyable.

The manager at the Short Pump Cold Stone in Richmond is very rude. Terrible customer service every time I've been in the store and ordered an ice cream birthday cake. Do not order a cake online to go pick it up, they won't have it for you either.

Staff was nice, but $5.31 for a kids sized cup and it’s not even filled up all the way? Outrageous. Total waste of money. Better off buying a tub of ice cream from walmart down the street.

Tried to go there tonight (saturday) sign says they close at 9:30 but they were closed at 9:05. Employees just turned and looked at me and continued to clean up

My wife & I visited here on our way out. There were only two young men working the store. I believe one was named Landon. I have to tell you I worked retail all my life and I can't tell you how impressed I was with these two young men. The line was long and the orders were varied, but these two gentlemen held the line and took care of each and every customer. Every customer walked away happy. In a post COVID world, customer service is hit or miss and it is rare to find people with a strong work ethic and great attitude. Please take care of these guys and reward them anyway you can (you don't want to lose them). Great job!

It's a nice ice cream store. The cones are really big size, no complains. The ice cream is good too. They don't have alot of variety though and the place looks vacant and understaffed. They are bit pricey but that's every cold stone creamery. I got cotton candy and cheesecake one.

I walked with my 2 year old from clear across the mall(not knowing this location was in the mall) which is definitely a hike. When we get there, I see all the chairs stacked up and covered in tape. After ordering the ice cream, I asked the young cashier if me and my child were supposed to eat outside in the cold because there is no seating. She responds with "You can stand, I can't take the chairs down". Obviously a 2 year is not going to stand and eat, especially after walking for as long as she did. So we ended up sitting on the floor. They also have signs that tell you everything they DONT accept like Apple Pay, Google pay, Samsung pay, and multiple other coupons. This is definitely the worst Cold Stone I have ever been to.
Very good product with large serving. A bit pricey.

Hopefully I can get my picture to load, and if so, look at what was advertised vs. what I got. I didn't complain to the teenager working because (a) I didn't want to be a male "Karen" and (b) she was obviously following a company recipe, but the more I thought about this, the angrier I got -- especially at $7.00 for a small. What a rip off. I ll not be a repeat customer for sure. Other ice cream stores provide much higher quality desserts.

I love Cold Stone as a brand, but this is the worst location I've ever been to. Oftentimes on the weekend they have a line out the door, but it's def not bc the service is good. You go in here and are usually not greeted. The store seems to be run entirely by super young people. On top of that, the store is also dirty. The counters and floors and even the barrier screens that they have up are smudged with ghosts of ice cream past. I work at the mall and they have a mall discount, which I've gotten plenty of times. I asked for it and the guy at the counter first told me outright that they don't do that. (Ok, well check?) A team members chimed in and told him that they DO offer a mall discount. He searched around on the computer for a bit then told me again out of frustration that he doesn't b"think" they do , then charged me full price. I didn't want to hold up the line, so I paid and left, but I won't be back.

My favorite ice cream place in RVA. They definitely deliver on variety and quantity of flavors and modifications. Their waffle cone is delicious! They also make a whole part of the mall have this sweet smell that is just... Yum! Can't complain about service provided, the workers were fast and efficient. The price is adequate for the location and product. All and all happy with the experience.
