Called us 20 minutes before our reservation to let you know the heaters weren’t working on the patio & pouring rain out. & though they had tables inside available, told us if we sat there only had 50 minutes & we were meeting friends. Then asked w what I ordered if it had dairy or not… instead of coming back & telling me they just eliminated all the veggies in the dish & brought me a plain bowl of chicken. I can eat that at home. Last time of the bs Conejo. Will never return. Uppitty CCV staffers & guests! No thanks!

Every single item we ordered off the menu including the drinks was incredible! The braised beef was the best closely followed by the Tres Leche for dessert. The atmosphere and service were both fantastic! We'll be back for sure

The waiter literally asked one of the people at our table if she had any allergies - which she did specify that she's allergic to shellfish. She then ordered the Baja Fish taco, which was then mixed up and she was served the Baja Shrimp taco. Literally served the one thing she can't eat - after being SPECIFICALLY asked to share any allergies BY THE SERVER. That's a potentially dangerous lack of attention to detail. Luckily we caught the mistake before eating and someone at the table was happy to switch. Told the server about it and was just told "Sorry."
We were sat 15 minutes after our reservation, they were very busy so not necessarily their fault but did have to wait. Food was great otherwise, but having to pay for chips as an appetizer is lame. Hopefully just an off night for them, but I'm not returning.

Love the decor inside, very bright and cheerful.
The selection of salsas, both the complimentary ones (more like condiments) and the appetizer portion are really bright flavors and nice amount of heat.
I love the sides, especially the beans and rice and the roasted sweet potatoes. The latter has a kind of complex flavor blending heat, coriander and sweet. It’s one of my fav things!
Be aware that the salsa fundido with chorizo is so rich and filling that I could eat this by itself, not as an appetizer.
The staff is very perceptive and friendly.

Very disappointed in the food. Rice and beans were undercooked and had no flavor. Chips are too thick and hard. Sauces are weak. The chef needs to fly to Dallas and learn how to do Latin food properly.

Great, so nice to get vegan meal for me and nonvegan for my sister.
Wonderful dinner, atmosphere and food quality. Party of 8 were well tended to by staff. The food was excellent. Ceviche, tostadas pescado, cocktails, salsas, tacos and mole entrees. All were great and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a better experience than the typical local mex-American. This would have been 5 stars all around but when many people were in, it was really noisy. This wouldn’t stop me from returning though. Great time and great food!
It was fine. Nothing special though. The salsa trio was tasty, but chips are extra. My drink (the Gloria) was good, but weak and mostly ice. The chicken taco my daughter ordered was literally a piece of chicken on a tortilla with no toppings (she’s 8; if they were making a judgement about what she wouldn’t like, be it vegetables or spicy flavors, they should instead ask; she likes both). The rest of our meal was fine, but again, nothing special.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with young kids here, and lots of <$10 small plates that would work as a meal for a child. Very kid friendly.
