It's a well known Hotspot for the younger crowd, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on Cookout from an older adult's perspective. This place is AMAZING! No matter what time you go, the food is fresh and hot! The milkshakes are INCREDIBLE..and a huge variety as well and unlike the laziness of McDonald's not wanting to take care of the shake machine, I have never been told their shake machine is down at Cookout! This was my first time having Cook Out! I wish we had them back home. I had a burger, onion rings, hush puppies and a Cheerwine (my 1st time having Cheerwine too!) The food was all really good and for under $10, the amount you get and the quality is worth it.

If you use the drive-through, I recommend eating your burger before you get home. It's wrapped so tight in aluminum foil that the lettuce looks cooked by the time you go to open it. Overall I recommend this restaurant and definitely the shakes. Just hope they don't turn into McDonald's with the shake machine never being cleaned to the point where you can taste other flavors and (worst of all) you taste sour, rotten ice-cream.
