My son and his date were seated nearly 30 minutes after their reservation. The food was very good but also took a good bit of time to receive. They had a dance to get to and had to rush through their meal which was unfortunate. This is the second time I have made a reservation and had to wait more than 20 minutes to be seated.
Overall my dining experience at Cooper's Hawk was acceptable. The areas I found concerning were the restaurant running out of food & the waiting time for diners to receive food. Both of the items I wanted to order were unavailable & for a restaurant I considered to be rather pricey compared to other higher level restaurants, I found them running out of certain items to be unacceptable. Celebrating my niece's birthday after attending the Ballet. Food service was extremely slow. I have always lived the Parmesan shrimp scampi, but last night was not good. Not sure if it's a different chef or what the difference was, but it was not enjoyable. I didn't even finish the dish. Very disappointing.
