I drive from Durham NC every other weekend just to eat at the Crocker Spot in Richmond VA. Food always was bomb, staff always nice, atmosphere chill laid back vibe. People say I’m crazy for driving so far when when you receive quality service and quality food you’ll drive for it… Thank you Crocker Spot and shot out to my waitress Yasmine for always smiling and making me and my family feel welcomed..

There was a shooting outside the location 1 day after I dined in. There was also a roach 🪳 crawling nearby (and if you see one, there are probably more). Onto the food, it was overall not worth paying for. I had the shrimp and grits (which is cooked in worcestershire sauce) and if you’ve ever tasted that sauce, you’d know it has an extremely strong flavor. Needless to say I essentially had shrimp in a worcestershire soup. The cornbread has no flavor and the mac n cheese was a 5/10. Overall I’ve had better food at family gatherings. You want to come to a restaurant and feel amazed by how tasty the food is.

This was my 2nd time here and 1st time for brunch! The food was so disappointing. I had salmon cakes that came out of the can and had no seasonings. Also, im not sure why they are called the Crocker spot and they don't even sell Croaker fish!🤥 The only good thing washout server was very nice and very good at her job. My cousin and I will not be back!

We are in Richmond for the weekend and decided to stop at Crocker Spot, 8/9/25. While waiting for our food in the take out area 2 employees started fighting in the kitchen. Unbelievable! We asked the manager to refund our money. How disappointing!! We will NEVER patronize a Crocker Spot again.

Great time granddaughter loved the shrimp and mac macaroni and cheese. I did also don't normally enjoy to many places even after great reading great reviews. This one I would put on my table.😉
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I drive 2 and half hours for excellence. The food is reasonably priced and you get enough for 2 or even 3 people with an entree. Always hot and cooked personally per order. Will change to cook your food to your details. Sooooo many people drive as many as 3 hrs. and all worth it every time. Everything is a 5. There are also about 5 or 6 specialty sweet Iced teas that are served in huge glasses and are perfectly delicious.
