I had the most amazing oysters, and all of the food was AMAZING! Chicken Caesar Salad 🥗 was incredible! Kudos to the Chef(s) and staff!! 🤩🤩🤩
Jamela was my server, and she was not only ridiculously kind and welcoming, but completely knowledgeable about the entire menu, about all the locations, what to recommend and all of the different delicious sauces! She is an absolute gem 💎 . Thank you so much for seeing a tired Mom, and providing a level of GENUINE Service and kindness that I haven’t seen in quite a while. Bless you all!

I had the most incredible dining experience at the Petersburg location on my drive back to NC!!! Before I walked in the door, the hostess was grabbing a menu to seat me. EVERY SINGLE staff member had a smile on their faces and was friendly and welcoming. The waiter was absolutely exceptional, anticipating needs, making great drink and food suggestions, delivering timely service, etc.The food was absolutely phenomenal and very reasonably priced! I visited a 5 star restaurant the day before and the Croaker’s spot topped my experience there, by far! I’m so incredibly impressed and proud to support this quality of restaurant with a proud African American ownership! THIS is the type of business I will travel out of my way to support! Kudos! Kudos! Kudos!

This place NEVER disappoints…. Oysters Rockefeller was absolutely delicious, sautéed scallops with rice and mushroom gravy and collard greens with cornbread 😋🤤….. all perfectly cooked and delicious! There was so much food I had to take a to go box and I have enough for an entire second meal!!!! And the icing on the cake was our waitress Yasmine - She was friendly, informative, offer suggestions…… she was the absolute best! 10/10

10/26/24 5:30pm Friends have been saying how much they like Croaker's Spot for many years. I said that we have to finally try this place out. I felt that this restaurant turned out to be 1 of the top 3 restaurants we have eaten at in the last 12 months. I had crab stuffed flounder, cabbage, chunky mashed potatoes. My wife had catfish, mac n cheese, French fries. Both had the cornbread. That was the best catfish I can remember having ever. Cornbread was sinfully good. Not a spot of shell in my crab (pet peeve of mine). I had no idea that cabbage could be that good. Seating was scarce, so we sat at the bar. The bartender was working so hard the whole time we were there, and yet still made time for us when I would ask about the drinks she was making. She never skipped a beat and just kept churning beautiful looking drinks out. We will definitely recommend Croaker's Spot to our friends.

We've order from here many times. This time we decided to dine in. Food absolutely delicious. However as my wife and I get older we don't eat as much. With that said, this is the first I've been charged a fee for sharing a meal. We were charged for the extra plate. Very interesting. If I had ordered take out, no would know I shared my meal. Nor charged for it.
