This place rules! I always come here with my partner and it never disappoints. Mussels in marinara, calamari & chard, beet salad and tiramisu are my favorites (hard to choose - everything is good). Go enjoy yourself at this cute and comfy place.

Found Dinamo quite by accident. A Richmond-centric publication mentioned Dinamo as an aside in relation to another restaurant that had since closed. When we discovered Dinamo was still open (later evening) we decided to give it a whirl. The whirling airplane prop in the front window indicated that, at the very least, things would be not boring. Found this place on a food recommendation blog about top restaurants in Richmond. Love the mussel and squid ink fettuccini with the white sauce; never had such a combo in other Italian places. The other fettuccini bolognese was just average - the tomato sauce is too sour. The restaurant lies in a cozy neighborhood and close to VCU campus.
